We weren't willing to let Laurie go either. Neither team let their player go. The clubs both used their players desire to leave to gain something themselves.

The club must have sorted that out so it’s pretty hard for anyone to think it’s a bad deal now. We have gone from having a promising player in Laurie who has already signed to play elsewhere, and if he stayed was probably still 4th in line at his actual position to now having a player who has proven he can do it in first grade already and one that will be right up there for selection in the team for round 1
