We have a more than capable full back, really need speed in the centres and on one wing. If the football dept have any understanding, they would pay up for a couple of speedsters.

In general we don’t threaten from even halfway , no good passing freely to support players who can’t bust the line and take the ball 50/60 metres.

Then again, would we also benefit from someone teaching attacking structures, not getting too much from current staff.

If only our coach/recruitment team could think like this. But unfortunately BA is very conservative and unless it is forced upon him, I don't believe this will never happen.

Reckon we only need 1 top 13 “speedster” at either winger / centre.

Will is probably a starting centre in the next 12 months/next year (his attack in NSW cup is already pretty good, and just needs some experience to get better defensively) and has some pace.

Add Blake at either centre/winger, who also has decent speed. So there is only 1 spot to fill, depending on where Blake plays (which can just depend on who is available).

I don't believe we can rely on our juniors. We don't have any real speedster in the lower grades that can match it with the quickest players in the NRL.

We need genuine pace not Fergo or Waqa pace otherwise why bother?

And from what I have seen of our lower grades, there is no one that stands out, at least not in the short term that can play NRL anytime soon.

We must breed them slow and dumb out our way now a days.

There aren't many NRL players with 'genuine pace', if you're talking about guys faster than Blake or Ferguson. They are all either undersized or insanely expensive.

Whilst natural speed is something you want in all outside backs, what is far more important is knowing when to run a line, when to hit a hole and when to push up in support.

We do these things consistently and our attack will improve.
