If West Sydney Tigers get even better, their crowds will rival other Sydney teams.

Thats only a huge positive for the growth of the game and it's revival in Sydney as well.

The Heartland deserves to have success.

And when it does; people will rejoice and come back to our great game in fantastic numbers

As shown by the revolution at Campbelltown.

Another Broncos ticketing fail - the ticket manager is nearly as bad as the Dolphins at the moment! The 550 seats that he popped on this morning in the cheaper categories ('behind posts' and 'corners')have basically sold out, as have the 300 'sideline' category seats left in 638.

Just open all of level 7 south and east ffs

Is it actually a "person" or an algorithm?

A person. It's a fully interactive desktop where they can manage what sections (or even individual seats) are on sale. They can do pretty much whatever they want - including recategorising and repricing. I think before they open additional stands (IE level 7 east) they will need approval from Suncorp.

I often email the general Raiders membership email and ask them to release tickets that are held for members for me to sit there, and in 10mins they are removed from the membership map and are available on the ticketek map. It's all pretty simple via the desktop.

Looks grim but games at Bathurst and Darwin don't help.

Surely dogs can get 15k? Plenty of reason for optimism and they have a large fanbase.

Sharks being at home doesn’t help either.

hopefully the dragons winning on Sunday will help swell the gate to around 15k at WIN.

Friday 6pm in Wollongong is a recipe for a low crowd. The Sydney based fans will struggle to get there. School holidays may be a saving grace though.

Rugby League is in a great place atm.

Great fast flowing game where the referee doesn't even call players who are offside anymore.

It's one of the worse combinations of a venue and timeslot. Wollongong doesn't perform great on Thursday's & Friday's in general, but the 6pm timeslot has only delivered sub-10K crowds in the past. The two games held there last year got 9,275 (Warriors) and 9,369 (Raiders).

Looking on Ticketmaster, it looks like this one is at least in the 5-figures, however who know how many members either live or work locally, or if they'll be trying to make it down the Princes Hwy in time for kick off.

Looking at other games this weekend, in Darwin, there are still 388 seats left at TIO Stadium. Hopefully this game pushes crowds we've had in recent years at the venue (12,056 v Brisbane in 2021, 11,864 v Brisbane in 2023 and 10,017 v Nth Qld in 2022), though there is little doubt that both the Broncos and Cowboys are the most popular teams in the region. All matches in Darwin not featuring Broncos or Cowboys have drawn sub-10K.

Roosters game enjoyed some decent sales last night with the 20% off offer. Biggest thing hurting this game is the fact the ANZAC Day match is only next week. The match has definitely moved a lot more tickets than what the Waratahs had last Friday (which named 12,894) so assuming the same method of counting is used 14-16K is definitely in the mix. Corporates for Thursday have sold well, so that should ensure there will be some people on Level 2.

For Bathurst, all Grandstand seating and Corporate Hospitality has been sold out and GA is selling well. Following the last couple of 11K crowds there, the Bathurst Regional Council has been exploring ways of fitting additional patrons into the venue. What they means from a max-capacity perspective is anyone's guess, but it would be nice if we can push more towards 11.5K

Sharks are down to GA only at Pointsbet so should get around 13K again on Sunday. Bulldogs are doing some initiatives with their Junior Leagues this Sunday, so hopefully that can push them into 14K+ territory.

The Rabbitohs have confirmed their R12 Indigenous Game vs Parramatta will be held at Accor Stadium on Saturday 25 May 2024:

This game was possibly going to be held at Allianz Stadium, but due to a late season surge by Sydney FC in the A-League, they have priority over the Rabbitohs on this date (should the stadium be needed for A-League finals series).

Blake solly signing a long term lease at accor was a genius

Re Tigers Allianz would make sense. 6 games there 6 at campbelltown and push for an upgrade.
If Dragons and souths move to allIanz as well those clubs, along with roosters, would be in a great position to offer reciprocal membership agreements for full ticketed members leading to huge crowds and great value for fans.
They should play 6 home games at SFS and 6 home gamesin Perth (all the games against non Sydney teams). Gradually move over there that way.

What makes you think Perth would be interested in supporting a sht part time Sydney club?
