Wahs too strong in the end and deserved winners.

Souths poor 10 mins either side of HT killed our chances but love the never say die attitude that Wayne has brought back to our club.

Latrell looked tired mentally from origin imo

Even still almost got them in it
He's about as fit as he's ever going to get given his body genetics so he will always need a blow and needs to manage his energy during games for which he gets bagged but he can muster his elite best when it matters and produce diamonds amongst the occasional rocks.

We had a few injuries bro.
So? Moale was catching a cold on the bench for 60 minutes while Keppie and Tatola were conceding a thousand metres up the middle

Gray defending on the wing against RTS instead of having him 3-in and pushing out Aitken and Graham

Going for short drop outs when we are gassed and conceding tries

1000% effort and Trell is a magician but very poor tactically

These 'ones that got away' can be the difference between finals or not

Having a good half back again helps plus he’s in a good head space mentally avoiding the media

Just need to punt dodds and use his money more usefully

750k for a nsw cup player is hella crazy

On a positive note - Alex Johnston became the first player ever to score 200 tries for one club, and the 2nd overall.

And he scored 3 tries showing all his strengths:

1. Reading the defence and his speed on the intercept try.

2. Perfect timing and body positioning running onto the ball from Latrell.

3. Game smarts to keep his ball-carrying arm off the ground so he could promote the ball for a try.

Well done AJ - an incredible achievement!

Yes about Dodd.

Trell will be even better when his partnership with Cody is finally reunited. They have not been on the field together all year apart from the 1st half against the roosters when Walker did his hammy. Even then, Trell was selected in the centres that game so they haven't lined up in 1 & 6 together this year. Next week hopefully will finally see that combo for the 1st time this season.

I’m fascinated by the legacy of AJ. Best try scorer of the last 50 years in a team that wasn’t dominant, yet supposedly other wingers were better. So what did he have to score tries that all those bigger better badder faster guys didn’t? I’m just asking questions

People are obsessed with wingers who can make metres from dummy half. There is a key place for them, sure.

But AJ's ability to score is second-to-none in his time. His underrated strength is his impeccable timing when hitting passes. He is always in position, hitting the ball at pace, running the right lines.

People see him go over untouched and give him little credit, when Cody or Latrell throw those same balls to lesser wingers and they aren't there, or not fast enough, and get tackled. Bentley-Hape did that twice today!

He has been a tremendous servant to the game.

He has his strengths - obviously, speed, but also positioning, great hands and teamwork with inside guys like Walker and Mitchell. But he has never been a great yardage guy. Not bad but not elite which is what rep selectors look for first when it comes to Origin.

I feel like if those other wingers were elite they’d score 200 tries maybe

Souffs getting a real leg up in the last 20. Forward pass from LM for one try. Obvious knock on in the play the ball k by Moale (I think) in the play before another.
Congrats to AJ for 200 tries, and to see LM get one of those loopy cutout balls go backwards for once.
