I finally finished Elden Ring after 280hrs, it was my first souls game experience and man what a journey!

A true masterpiece, I love every minute of it, some of the bosses were super tough and I reckon I died 50-60 times on a few but was determined to get through it. The game is visually stunning and the different enemies and stages never got dull or repetitive, really enjoyed the gameplay and liked the fact that the RPG element is important but not the be all and end all, you can still get through it just based on good user play and learning enemy movements.

Would definitely recommend it for anyone who has never played these games before, just be prepared for a heavy time investment and some tough times!

I think I'll give Cyberpunk a go next, sounds like it's a great game now that all the bugs have been fixed

I've been playing AC: Origins. First AC game. It's probably not my type of game usually but I'm a sucker for ancient history and this delivers enough on that front to make it overall quite fun. Bit tedious if you're a completionist like me - enemy camps don't have a lot of variety and get repetitive. Will get around to Odyssey eventually.

I've had Elden Ring on my backlog for ages, it's one of those games I know I will love (big Souls/Souls-like fan) so I think I procrastinate it because once I play it, it's over. That and I still need to play DS3 which may be my next game after AC: Origins.

I loved origins, one of the best settings I’ve played in a game. didnt like odyssey, was over saturated with content and the world no where near as interesting

Every Souls game I get about half way in and then fall off.

I just stop having fun at some point.

Haven't played Elden Ring though.

Echoes of the Living in an old-school Resident Evil type game. Early access at the moment but a full campaign with the male character to play through for now before they open up other characters and their stories. I'm enjoying it. $36.50 on Steam.

Finished the main story.

I'm not sure if it's the best game I've played but it sure as hell the most poignant

Probably top five all time for me.
I finished the main story last night.

Were you team Verso or team Maelle?

I played the first few but got a bit bored after a while as they tended to get a bit repetitive after a while, tried jumping back in with Valhalla but got bored pretty quick.
Not that it’s going dirt cheap trying Star Wars Outlaws, steered clear due to the bad reviews, early days but it’s ok so far

Verso

But holy f**k the look that Lune gives you and the animation is the best I've ever seen.

Better than some movies
Yeah I went with Verso too. That looks from Lune is the same the wife gives me when I'm 2 minutes late to pick the kids up from school

I went to YouTube to watch the Maelle ending. Jesus Christ

picked up Assassins Creed Shadows for Xmas.

Good start so far, but I enjoyed all of the previous AC games and this isn't really anything different

Shadows didnt appeal to me, think Ghost of Tsushima did it better

I got Mirage and just started on it, similar setting to Origins which was my fav of the new style ones

Not so much a new game, but had a funny incident in this game a few days ago. Have been playing NBA 2K23 in My League mode for a few years. Am up to my 14th season in game. As such a number of today's stars have retired and moved into off court roles.

How's this time out huddle by Orlando Magic Head Coach Joel Embid -

First time I've ever seen a coach wearing a suit and a sweatband in the huddle :p
