Picked up Schedule I. Indie drug dealing game. A sandbox tycoon type sim that harks back to the Dope Wars of the 90's. Its a lot of fun. Think South Park animation styles with gangland dealing.

Space Marine II - I have only started diving into the lore of Warhammer 40k and felt this game could be a good entry to the series. Its lore rich, graphically beautiful and packs a lot of action.
I used Space Marine 1 as my slow introduction to 40k. Didn't get too far, tried again when SMII came out. Turns out I like the idea of 40k, the lore and stuff, and Space Marine and not really anything else about it. Not even other games in the universe. But that's just me.

Its an insanely deep dive. I started at the 40k universe and have been slowly piecing the lore together with the help of Youtube.

I'm a long way off the table games but it has intrigued me enough to see what the fuss is about.

I put about thirty hours into 40k Rogue Trader.

The atmosphere and tone gets oppressing after a while. I get that it us grim dark but gee it becomes tedious after a while

Few hours into Hogwarts Legacy. Not a massive Harry Potter guy but the world is unreal. Combat taking me a bit to get used too but overall it’s been a really enjoyable open world game.

Set up some emulators on my PC and Retroid Rocket 5.

Playing The Matrix - Path Of Neo. PS2. I remember playing Enter The Matrix as a teenager and the gameplay being very smooth and the game/story being very satisfying. Path of Neo though is just a bit of a mess. The aiming/targetting of enimies and movement is pretty clunky. Which is unfortunate because the game has real potential. The fighting is pretty awesome and the ability to use combos and weapons during a fight, including stripping your opponent is excellent. A remake of this game would be pretty epic.

Let's Go Pikachu - Switch. This is essentially a remake of the original Pokemon Yellow GameBoy game. The story is like a next generation version of that, and the graphics are akin to more recent Pokemon games. So like 3D animation. It's pretty fun and nostalgic to play. One of the most hated things from the original Pokemon games was contantly having to battle random pokemon that you've already caught in the wild. Fortunatley, you can see them in the wild and can avoid them pretty easily.
