Jumped back into Cyberpunk on PS5 to play Phantom Liberty after finishing the main game back in 2022.

It's such a complete experience now compared to my original run which was good but still had some rough edges (which was still better than the mess at launch).

Having a blast.

Picked up “The Last Caretaker” on steam.

Basically you play as a reawakened robot in a world where climate change has completely flooded the Earth. With humanity having long since fled to the stars, you are the final unit tasked with ensuring the survival of the human species.

It’s an open world game where you travel by boat, a trawler of sorts that becomes your base and hub. It’s packed with lots of crafting, puzzles and is an enjoyable game. It’s early access but with exception to very minor bugs I’ve encountered, it’s visually pretty, physics are a accurate and the variety of environments and challenges you face are well developed. You have lots of mechanics to work with such as maintaining your power source, crafting items to suit the situation, base building on your boat and FPS

It gives you a great sense of purpose as you work toward your goals. I find that despite playing as a robot, you almost feel as though it is aware of the importance of its mission and they’ve made your caretaker as vulnerable to their world as what a human would be but in a robotic sense.

Worth a look. I’d give it a 8/10 for sure.

Finally finished this.

It was ok but a fairly forgettable instalment in the franchise

Mirage has felt like a slog, definitely a step down in terms of Origins etc. Ive found Baghdad extremely repetitive and forgettable compared to previous settings.

the last couple of really felt like paint by numbers entries.

Still decent fun to run around and assassinate a few NPCs for a couple of hours after work but not much else. I am trying to remember the storyline from Mirage know and cant remember anything.

Stellar blade and Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty.

Now I get the jokes about playing Stellar Blade one handed.

Resident Evil: Requiem is just superb. Has received an "Overwhelmingly Positive" score on Steam by players. If you like this genre of gaming, just spend the $107 and get it. It's very, very good.

Yeah I remember hearing some of the blow back against it. I mean it is not the greatest game of all time but it is a decent fun game even if the controls can get a bit annoying

Visually very good, plot, not so great. As a result, the gameplay balance suffered but for those on PC, the battlefront II remastered (Community DLC) is how a Star Wars shooter should be.

Anyone played the old Star Wars game Republic Commando? I usually find retro games hard to get into these days but that game was a very good Star Wars experience for me.
