I've decided on option four, but with a jacket and woollies due to the forecast cold. Who else is going tomorrow? Someone joked that I should also take a Dogs' jacket in order to get home safe.

I like that fern jersey.

My eyes wandered from the stilted football quite a bit and I went jersey watching. There were five Pounamu jerseys, mine included, and we all talked to each other.

I didn't see one from '97 to '02, and only a few genuine 'crooked tongues' too. Heaps of newish jerseys, including retro remakes, from our '23ers (there I go again, look it was a great season, it brought along so many new fans, and they're still here!)

The black '07/08 always gets my attention, as does the '11 flag one.

Then you have punters turning up in their 'civvies', which I always find odd. Oh, and bloody All Blacks gear, give it a rest. I even saw a Black Caps shirt, sheeesh.

I got home safe but, yeah, there's definitely a 'vibe' like no other from Canterbury fans.

Anyway, it's been a long day and I'm getting narky. Time for bed.

Lol, I kind of thought so, but I couldn't quite match his face with your earlier photo. He looks like a good guy.

The gear he's wearing, he fits my new term, a '23'er'. They're everywhere at 'Wahs' games now. Heaps of young guys with moustaches (that's a dead giveaway) and their girlfriends in matching 2023 jerseys. Or, there's no girlfriends, just a bunch of loudmouth dudes.

There I go again. I need to stop this. We are one!
