All I can see for Api this season is decline as age and fatigue catches up with him. Not his fault.I’m wondering if AD pops up as captain.. at least co captain.. I’m not sure api’s 100% into it
Sorry I believe that 5th spot has been taken by the connoisseur of halves Pezz 70. Therefore now an opportunity for 5 AD fans that have had the courage to go against the grain and back him to succeed at half back where no man has succeeded before. where AD’s history would say not likely..that’s why it’s an honour some people go their whole careers without achieving. To get this right deserves the ultimate prize. Recognition as “Honourable Expert League Person” The draw is now closed. Good Luck and thank you participatingThere’s one spot left

Shaun Johnson makes huge call on 2026 Dally M halfback winner
He revealed the bold prediction on his podcast.www.zerotackle.com
Maybe a stretch, but he was good in the role last season.
I hope Shaun's right because if our halves nail it and we get our middles sorted we could go deep into September. It could happen. He does have the ability to bust the line and score tries and I assume he'll be our goal kicker as well.
The problem is he has an inconsistent game. In the recent trial he was good but he also threw bad passes and his defense can be suss.
I thought he was great last season. I hope he has a blinder this season.
All will be revealed soon enough.I hope Shaun's right because if our halves nail it and we get our middles sorted we could go deep into September.
It's all about freeing up Luai because he has the ability to get faster players like May and To'a into space.
What other teams will be doing is making AD defend more. It looks like AD is fitter and possibly could handle this and steer the team around at the same time. 🫰
He nearly kicked a 40/20 in the trial so he's been practising that too it seems.
Gotta get behind him because he's the man we are running with.
Fingers crossed we'll have more than one Dally M award, possibly KPP and Masi? Masi is still in the running for rookie of the year because apparently those couple of great games he had last year will carry over??
If 2005 showed us anything it's that when an opportunity presents itself you have to grab it with both hands and take it all the way. You never know when another opportunity will come again.I still think we will get into the 8 this season, maybe go deep, but not win it this year?
Agree, especially finishing them off and not the other way around. All will be revealed soon enough.
AD is the man (for now) but may the best players get the gig in whatever their position is.
With depth, comes competition for spots, not something we have had here for quite a while.
It's not the be all and end all game, but I think how we go against the cows will show us a fair bit, we've always had trouble with them.
The key to making the 8 will be going on a run of more than 3 wins in row at some stage. We have to break that hoodoo.
I disagree, it should be 4 wins in a row.The key to making the 8 will be going on a run of more than 3 wins in row at some stage. We have to break that hoodoo.

We won 9 games last year, from memory, we lost a few games by 4 or less points.I disagree, it should be 4 wins in a row.
Do I hear 5!
Hey Dom, which games could we possibly do it in?
So what your saying Tm is that we're a shoein for the J. J. Giltinan Shield. We won 9 games last year, from memory, we lost a few games by 4 or less points.
While it would be nice to string a few wins together, I think if we can get 13+ wins by the end of the season we should be in the 8. Certainly not a given, but certainly doable.
What happens after that is anyone's guess.

Next year.So what your saying Tm is that we're a shoein for the J. J. Giltinan Shield.![]()
Didn't we have him for next year?![]()
Doueihi extends stay with Tigers until 2029
The Wests Tigers are thrilled to confirm that Adam Doueihi has extended his contract with the Club through to the end of 2029 NRL season.www.weststigers.com.au
He has signed for a further two years.
Didn't we have him for next year?
Seems a bit premature for a guy who hasn't proved his ability as a half and has had several knee recos.
I'm seriously hoping he nails it at half, if he dies we can win the comp, I rate the guy as a true competitor but why the rush.
We have backup plans in Haywood and Fainu as well a Madden.
I guess it gives us security but what if he's a flop. We have a plethora of outside backs as well.
I'm only playing the devils advovate here. AD can play half, fingers crossed he plays like a game winning half.
Go the Tigers.
We win 26-16
