 Who is defending it? I've made my position on Elmanalo clear in the other thread.

Maybe I should take Jimmy's approach.

You are entitled to sook like jimmy if you wish.

Plenty have defended it, criticizing the club is difficult for many even when justified.

10 years next month of ownership under Roman. I thought he was supposed to get bored etc etc. He'd be close to one of the longest serving owners in the League now too.

Thanks for the Memories

It’s been a real pleasure and an honor to wear the blue shirt for 5 years.
Coming from Lyon after four successful years with as many champion titles, it was a real challenge to sign for CHELSEA F.C. with the ambition to succeed in the best league in the world: the English Premier League.

One of the main reason why I decided to sign for this club was to win the European CHAMPIONS LEAGUE and I couldn’t imagine a better scenario than winning the best club trophy in the world for my last CHELSEA game.

Over the five years I’ve defended the club’s colors, I’ve really enjoyed the great moments I lived amongst players and technical staff with the aim to deserve the daily support from our loyal fans, and I always tried to make them proud.

Every good thing must come to an end, and even if I had to wait for a whole season at the club’s academy, I’m very proud of all my achievements as a Chelsea player.

I’m free now to carry on my career, so I wish all the best to all my blue friends; I’ll always support CHELSEA F.C…

The Sneijder rumours are interesting

Even though he is getting on a bit, he knows how to win stuff with Josè

I really rate Sneijder, but I'm not sure he's what we need.

Then again for a player of his undoubted ability, 13mil pounds isn't a bad price at all.

Yep, we'd certainly have some depth in the attacking midfielder department

And £13 million is indeed a bargain

We tried. He was offered contracts with other clubs but refused a smaller wage so he stayed put and saw out his contract with CFC.

Looks like Mikel is off to Gala. Will be sad to see him go. I was surprised to hear he's still only 26.

According to the apparently quite reliable Belgian source Sporza, Mourinho sees Kevin de Bruyne as a part of the first team squad.

The cream of Belgian football all over the Stamford bridge pitch within the next few years. Exciting times.
