What those advocating afl style expansion don't want u to know

I agree but I’m biased being a norths fan. Needs a lot of work doing on it though.

What those advocating afl style expansion don't want u to know

I agree with this but can’t honestly see it unless some current NRL teams are either relocated, merged or kicked out as I don’t see how a 20+ team competition can or could work unless you introduce conferences.

    PNG's back.

Wouldn’t it be easier and cheaper for multinational corporations who want to do business in PNG to just bride the PNG government rather than pouring money into a bottomless PNG NRL franchise pit?

    WA BEARS

That would put them on a par with most current NRL clubs.

    PNG's back.

    Are these “backers“ multinational corporations?

    PNG's back.

Who are the wealthy backers willing to pour millions of dollars with no return for the png bid?

    International Calendar..

I’d personally start off with 4nations then build it up from there. don’t want to run before you learn how to walk.

    New North American Competition?

The silence is deafening. This competition isn’t happening and never was unfortunately.

The Game Future NRL Stadiums part II

The problem with half&half teams is that they are setup in trying to please everyone only to end up pleasing nobody.

The Game Future NRL Stadiums part II

Sydney is far too crowded and the market is saturated at the expense of a Perth or NZ2. South East Queensland is also under-represented especially for a fast growing population region and RL mad to boot. All that being said I wouldn’t want to boot any team out of the NRL or force them to...

    PNG's back.

Again passion don’t pay the bills unfortunately.

    PNG's back.

“f**k all that 3rd world talk” doesn’t pay the bills unfortunately. Giving a NRL franchise to PNG would be like setting up a Porsche dealership in Port Moresby. I’m sure they’d all love to drive and own a Porsche but how many could afford one?

    PNG's back.

Who said anything about merging all 3 bids? I was talking hypothetically and in jest. lol

    Random International News

Awesome. although it sounds like cheap talk but brazil and Brazilians were born to play RL. How cool would it be to one day see that great flag flying at a RL World Cup and it’s players donning that iconic yellow and Green jersey.

The Game Future NRL Stadiums part II

I agree. This model would have looked alright and probably been successful in the 80’s but today not so much. btw f#ck Kogarah unless for 1 heritage home game a season or other Sydney teams taking their “home” games against the dragons there. The dragons need to be based in Wollongong fulltime.

    PNG's back.

Hunters running u18&u20 junior sides should have already happened years ago. The majority of players picked up by the hunters from the digicel cup are in their early to mid 20’s and even older. The hunters players need to be exposed to a fulltime professional environment and culture from the...

    PNG's back.

Been saying this for years that there needs to be NRL run and funded academies in Fiji, Samoa, Tonga, New Caledonian and the Solomon Islands etc. They should also be run on the same principle as US college football draft system in that the teams finishing at the bottom of the NRL table should...

    PNG's back.

This is exactly my argument. Why have a PNG nrl franchise with all its financial pitfalls when you can/could achieve everything players development wise with the hunters at a smaller financial risk?

    PNG's back.

Mate the country is a 3rd world country with high crime rate and it’s population has very little disposable income. Whos going to play for the PNG nrl franchise?

    PNG's back.

How many overseas players are playing for the hunters and living in PNG?
