    How do we pay for 2 though? You can have 2 highly paid halves if you cost cut across the board and don’t have a 1.4 million dollar fullback. We can either have one quality half and Ponga or 2 quality halves. Cant realistically have both and I know which one id prefer.

    Meh - he hasn’t even played half a season of FG. Having a bad game now and again is going to happen. He’s proven he’s up to FG over and over in a couple of positions so I don’t think he’ll beat himself up too much.

    Tbh unless the Eels completely turn it around under Ryles next year (not impossible), he’s odd on to ask for a release IMO. Will be 31 without a premiership and they need to replace a lot of experience. It just wouldn’t be to the Knights. He’s got Bulldogs/Gus signing written all over him IMO.
