    My only gripe with Tago’s game yesterday was that he could’ve made a better effort in trying to retrieve the kick that lead to Bradman’s try in the second half. Yes, there were three of our blokes there but he was the closest and a smidgen more effort in his chase could’ve prevented that try.

    I walked past Peachy early this morning down by the Nepean River. He was walking with some Panthers greats in T Puletua, Galuvao and Luke Swain. I don’t know if it was the angles on TV but he didn’t seem too overweight. T Puletua still looks quite fit.

    Now there’s a name that I haven’t heard for a while! Loved his broadcasts of Penrith games on 2KA back in the 80s. It’s a shame that he never got to call the ‘91 GF (though Brian ‘Sando’ Sanders did a great job).

    Most likely the latter. It’s a common thought that teams (even the average ones) tend to play better or seem to grow an extra leg when playing the defending champions. 2022 was an exception to this. We dominated from start to finish that year.

    Did a quick calculation and it looks like his first game back will be in Round 20 against the Dolphins at home. Would’ve been Round 19 but that’s our last bye round.

    I’ve got no issues with @Red&BlackBear creating threads. He may support another team but he genuinely likes and respects the Panthers and what they’ve achieved, which is evident in the posts he makes.
