    The key word was “above” 16k.... And that is against Manly’s BEST. Across the NRL era, they average a bit over 11k. Seriously, the brand new stadium at Moore Park is only 20kms from Brookvale. Even if crowds only increase by 1k, thats still probably worth it.

    Good job!!! The obvious problem is that “Jets” (the word) is a fair bit shorter than “Bombers”, meaning that is too tall and not wide enough to suit the logo. Maybe “Brisbane Jets” all together would fix it (although that might be too far the other way. Hell, maybe i am just used to the other...

    Well that is demonstrably untrue... The best Manly average since 1998 is 15k. Roosters have gone above 16k seven times in the same period and peaked at 19.3k Manly’s shitty stadium is a permanent cap on crowds

    I would keep the Bombers logo and just change the name/colours The Kingsford-Smith thing is great, the airforce badge is clever and the 1940-Americana vibe could make for great branding. Rather than going for the obvious aeroplane cartoon, id rather see the Jets stick with this.

    Of course Broncos are lazy. If they wan to be the biggest in the NRL, they only need to be better than each Sydney team. Thats a low bar. Chuck in a second Brisbane team and they will jump straight into action. They would never let themselves become the small team in Brisbane.

    Good approach. keeps locals happy, while expanding the club brand a bit. I understand calling that their Main, just to get decent attention and make fans think about buying it.

    I reckon they should permanently expand the bench to 6... the 4 man bench was only established because of the unlimited interchanges. Now we are down to 8 changes per game, a bigger bench is not an advantage. But it will stop teams from losing their whole bench to injury.
