What style of Jets logo do people like?

I would keep the Bombers logo and just change the name/colours

The Kingsford-Smith thing is great, the airforce badge is clever and the 1940-Americana vibe could make for great branding.

Rather than going for the obvious aeroplane cartoon, id rather see the Jets stick with this.

I like the bombers logo, but the colors and mascot name was terrible, first thought i had was terrorist or Essendon,... not sure which was worse

The pilot image was great this could very well stay, Steve from wonderwoman, or carol danvers from captain marvel are great pilots in movies that kids watch these days, and are shown as great role models, they are a up there with firemen and astronauts to aspire too for a kid.

I like the name Baron, as in Brisbane Barons, but i recently had been told that barons as in red barons were also "BAD...GUY" too, so maybe not a great way to aspire kids

I wish had the skills to alter the colour palette and name on that logo.
I actually liked the Bombers colours and logo.

Queensland already has 3 teams using American brands. We don't need a fourth. Give it a local brand and it'll differentiate it from the others

Newtown jets was one of the first registered RL club in NSWRL in 1908, so as much as the New york Jets are "famous" in the US, Jets were here before RL started on the path to copy US mascots from 1982 onwards

Actually, Newtown only became the Jets in 1973. Prior to that, they were the Bluebags.
But I agree...the Jets name is a good strong one.

Im not sure that matters, they weren't copying the US NFL brand, even so its like saying North Sydney Bears copied the Chicago Bears, a bear is a bear, and a jet is a jet, when canberra and illawarra joined there seemed to have an influence to use foreign mascots from there onwards

I was responding to the post about the Bombers having a 1940s Americana vibe. North American brands bore me. They're either really snobby or annoyingly cartoonish.

We're a more laidback country with a cheeky sense of humour. A brand that reflects that would appeal to a wider range ot people and be unique.
