    That's the problem, we don't know and never will know the in's and out's of recruiting. In this case it could have been a number of issues from both sides , but to put the blame of not getting him totally on Flanno is ludicrous.

    I'm still eager to see us not invest in hasbeens for the sake of it, because we need a bigger body etc. So, we have Sele, the Couchies and LPT, all on the improve and hopefully give us a decent season of time in the field. I dont think Flanno is in a rush for anything until something positive...

    That still remains to be seen, having Luai there sure helps but it wont turn them into an instant Penrith, remains to be seen what the players around him do. Look at Olam and Bateman classic example.

    He also had an attitude that was more than evident when we played the Tigers, I dont think Flanno would have much to do with him now, otherwise he would have already made the deal on those terms.

    I really think if everything is going well by the middle of next season we will have some movement on Flanno, that way he can give confidence to players for the future that he will be there.

His nonsense cut deep and he was the skipper...
