    If they went down the same path as Penrith, it would look something like this. With white shorts and socks (and even white side panels) I don't think it would look that bad.

    To simply replicate a retro design is lazy. It needed a modern take as Nuke had mentioned earlier in this thread. Makes the whole smoke screen countdown build-up to the release of this jersey laughable...particularly seeing as though it is almost identical to last years heritage jersey.

    It didn't matter so much for their vertical stripe jersey because the entire Jersey was the same, but to have NIB covering up 70% of the only feature of this jersey is a shame.

    Just for you...are you in? I must admit I like it better without the NRL and I have to say that it looks classier in just 2 colours rather than 3. This would have been good if they were looking for a less drastic change.

    Now that I have seen the final version of it being presented in badge form (a shield within a shield) I am liking it. I have experimented with many colour combinations they could have gone with and they all look good. The old NRL colours or even a gold one for grand finals?

    The new nrl badge on the bulldogs jersey makes it look like a NSW cup jersey. Competition logos look nicer when they stand out (contrast)....BUT not this much... ...now that's a big mf Grand final badge! There are probably people on a Soccer forums saying "why cant we be more like the NRL...

    So the way the logos are going to be done is now confirmed. I like it! Very similar to the inaugural NRL season. Shame about the text. It really does look unbalanced.

    No. All we have at the moment is the St George one the NRL mocked up for their release, the Newcastle smokescreen and an eyewitness account from the Ken Allen awards.

    Based on the knights teaser, I like the way the new logo sits and looks on the Jersey. Reminds me of this except with a tighter fit. I still wish they went with just the logo itself. I think the text underneath ruins it. Its messy, unnecessary and makes the Jersey look unblalnced. The nrl logo...

    Also looks like the nrl logo will be sitting on a slightly bigger shield behind it. I wonder if every club will have a white logo and only get to choose the background colour or if they get to choose both. It's a black and white logo. For all we know the logo in the photo may be red?

    I won't comment on the font as I don't want to be seen as being negative but I LOVE how they have clearly stated its their 25th season to avoid all the confusion we have had in the past with clubs celebrating establishment milestones.
