    Luai really is our only sliver of hope of avoiding another spoon. He is a class player and I think this is the first time this club has signed a player of his calibre in a key position. It will take a monumental effort for him to turn this team around though.

    We could be in for a blood bath that final game. We have conceded 50 five times in the final round since 2014, and having the week off in Round 26, I'd imagine the players will have well and truly clocked off.

    The only other player the judiciary deemed bad enough to receive a Grade 3 Careless High Tackle charge this year is Dom Young who KO'd his opponent.

    That will probably be the end of Sezers tigers career. I am sure the NRL will give him a suspension about twice as long as Dom Young or Suaalii for taking opposition's heads off.

    Cleary will do well to play another origin. Luai's performance last night shows who really runs the show at Penrith and they will struggle to make the 8 without him and JFH next year.

    I think club suspensions should be served for club games only, however I don't think you can keep rep suspensions to rep games only. Otherwise you get retiring players grubbing it up in game 3 of origin with no repercussions. Or one game wonders (Suaalii) getting away without punishment.

    It is a ludicrous charge, however if the NRL are adamant that we are going to charge players for contact with the ref, then how is it not a penalty onfield?

    Season 2024

    After conceding 22 points a game for the first 10 games, we have now let in 270 in the last 7 (42, 56, 10, 24, 40, 40, 58). Well on track to concede 700+ points for the season. Benji needs to go and bring in someone with the experience required to turn this disaster around for next season...
