    Cricket Crap

Streak was a gun. 216 wickets (130 more than anyone else for Zimbabwe) at 28 in an ordinary side. A couple of centuries to boot too. RIP

Match Discussion: Round 27 vs Manly @ 4 Pines Park, Brookvale / Cammeraygal

It is the 5th time we have conceded 50+ in the last round in the last 11 years. There is also a 38-0 loss to a pathetic last placed Bulldogs side a few years ago too.

Match Discussion: Round 27 vs Manly @ 4 Pines Park, Brookvale / Cammeraygal

Disgraceful effort to finish our worst ever season.

    Season 2024

Perhaps I am being overly negative, but I don't see where the 10 extra wins are going to come from to sneak into 8th next year. I am not convinced any of our halves signings are a huge improvement. What is Benji going to bring that he didn't already try this season? He has the hardest job in...

    Season 2024

More pain for us in 2024 unfortunately. Can't see where the improvement is coming from.

    Sack the Sheenius

Also typical of the club to try and bury this story the same day as the Matilda's semi final. They did the same thing with announcing him as coach last year on the same day as origin 3. Typical of the cowards running this club.

    Sack the Sheenius

So since we brought Sheens back to the club as head of football, his only real decision was to sack the coach and give himself the job. Then the coward couldn't even see out one season after coaching us to an even worse result than last year despite a better roster. This club cannot get any...

    Season 2023

Very hard to choose our best moment of 2023. Some absolutely unforgettable options here.

Australia tour of South Africa (white ball) Aug 31 - Sept 2023

I think we will see something like: Warner Head Smith Marsh Maxwell Carey Stoinis/Green Agar Starc Cummins Zampa Green did well in the IPL up the order and I tried to find a spot for him there, but difficult to squeeze him in.

Mathew Wade - Australias tough little nugget

https://www.foxsports.com.au/cricket/matthew-wade-stars-for-london-spirit-in-threewicket-loss-to-oval-invincibles-in-the-hundred/news-story/96c49d24cd15025496c9dee5da11fac2 Good effort but a normal sized human would catch this waist height.

    Andrew McDonald - Coach

Looking at those results he probably has done the bare minimum for a pass mark. Team has neither improved or regressed since he took over.

5TH ASHES TEST: @ The Oval London July 26-30, 2023

I read it on Cricinfo and was surprised too. They have lost two series - lost to NZ a couple of years ago and Sri Lanka of all teams back in 2014.

5TH ASHES TEST: @ The Oval London July 26-30, 2023

Ultimately it's pretty hard to win away series, especially in England. They have lost less series at home the past 10 years than Australia have. Their bowlers are very skillful in their conditions and we always struggle to get much more than 300. We would have been in a world of trouble had...

5TH ASHES TEST: @ The Oval London July 26-30, 2023

England can change the ball and the bails all they want but they can't change who holds the Ashes.

5TH ASHES TEST: @ The Oval London July 26-30, 2023

England have a boy sized man and a man sized boy opening the batting.

5TH ASHES TEST: @ The Oval London July 26-30, 2023

I have never seen a series where both teams have thrown away so many wickets. Yes, both bowling attacks are pretty good but aside from England's 590 last game both teams have mostly struggled to get much more than 300 on some of the flattest wickets of all time.

    Refereeing

The ones that I hate are when we pin a team down their end for a couple of tackles and you just know they will find a completely arbitrary offside penalty. The TV coverage usually glosses over it and never shows any replays to show who is offside. Yet we will get a dozen replays of a loss...

    Refereeing

It's a disgrace, but the only way it gets better is winning games. I hate it, but the refs have always favoured the more fancied team and I can't see that ever changing. We used to get a lot of these calls our way in 2010-11.
