5TH ASHES TEST: @ The Oval London July 26-30, 2023

It is ridiculous how they can test it every couple of overs. Should be one chance per 80 overs and that is it.

5TH ASHES TEST: @ The Oval London July 26-30, 2023

Their innings seemed similar to our first innings at Old Trafford. Very wasteful on a decent enough batting track. Need to put them away tomorrow.

5TH ASHES TEST: @ The Oval London July 26-30, 2023

Doesn't annoy, so much as make the eyes roll to the back of the head. England are playing better, but they (and Baz) are not the first team to play counter attacking cricket. They have yet to beat anyone good playing this style either. Sort of like if the Wallabies beat Argentina and Italy...

    Cooked decision to bowl first.

5TH ASHES TEST: @ The Oval London July 26-30, 2023

You'd reckon this bloke would keep his head down seeing as England's form turned around the moment he got injured.

    Is that Ollie Robinson?

5TH ASHES TEST: @ The Oval London July 26-30, 2023

Saw a comment that Bazball combines Kiwi victim complex with Pommy whinging. Nicely sums up some of the commentary on Australia retaining the Ashes.

4th ASHES TEST: @ Old Trafford, Manchester July 19-23, 2023

England now have another problem that if we do manage to get in front and the light isn't good enough to bowl our quicks then Cummins will take us off the field.

4th ASHES TEST: @ Old Trafford, Manchester July 19-23, 2023

What do we reckon the minimum overs required for England to win is? I think they will need at least 20 overs you would hope. The absolute most I could see us surviving is about 65 overs. I reckon 30 overs of play would be about 50/50 chance of survival. So we are hoping for at least 4.5 sessions...

4th ASHES TEST: @ Old Trafford, Manchester July 19-23, 2023

England have adjusted their tactics since the start of the series. We have not. We keep expecting them to throw away wickets like they did in the first two games, but England have put their ego aside and are batting with much more control. It will be a strange feeling if the weather forces a...

4th ASHES TEST: @ Old Trafford, Manchester July 19-23, 2023

Bancroft didn't even get selected for the Australia A team this year. I doubt he is ever getting picked again, despite being the clear next best performer.

4th ASHES TEST: @ Old Trafford, Manchester July 19-23, 2023

Our problem in England has always been scoring big totals (aside from when Smith became Bradman last series). 300 is definitely something to bowl at though, as England have only really been scoring 250-300 since 1st innings at Edgbaston. Looks like it will be another 2nd innings shootout.

I am sure he won like 10 tosses straight or something ridiculous last summer.

Match Discussion: Round 21 vs St Geo Illa @ WIN Stadium, Wollongong / Dharawal

David Warner probably more chance of scoring double figures than Wests Tigers are.

Rumours (signings, sackings & other NRL stuff)

Lee Herpaderpalis to appear on NRL 360 tonight. Thank goodness for that, I hadn't heard Lee open his gob for a couple of days and was beginning to worry.

4th ASHES TEST: @ Old Trafford, Manchester July 19-23, 2023

Hazlewood in for Boland is a no-brainer. I think we need to drop Warner. Bring in Renshaw or Harris and hope for the best. I like Murphy, and think he should play, but if we are going to treat him like we did at Headingley we may as well just play Green or Neser.

Try watching your NRL side roll out a NSW cup level side for 10+ years.

    3rd ASHES TEST: @ Headingley, Leeds July 6-10, 2023

Needs to be said that England have been much improved this game too. They seem to have stopped the Bazball shit and have played much smarter cricket.

    3rd ASHES TEST: @ Headingley, Leeds July 6-10, 2023

Bowled pretty well today, but needed to be near perfect or have some luck.

    3rd ASHES TEST: @ Headingley, Leeds July 6-10, 2023

Probably been one wicket behind par all innings.
