Not sure anyone did before that either. It was a one of a kind.

This has Vlandys fingerprints all over it. The strategy is to get it over with and out of the news pronto, unlike Greenberg and his deliberations that went on for an eternity, all of it documented by the 4th estate on a daily basis. I expect Nathan Cleary to break a few records in his career...

They cops could yet give Nathan a bluey but you'd think they'd have to give his poppets one each as well. Maybe just a warning.

Very lenient, especially on Fox and Fatboy.

    Favourite Panther wins

A couple of other good ones going back, both at Penrith- 28-10 win over a star-studded Manly in 1981 (Round 4) under Len Stacker. Manly had put on 2 tries late in the first half to undeservedly lead 10-8 at halftime. The Panthers ran away with it in the second half. I didn't go to this one...

    Favourite Panther wins

Vs Illawarra 1984 at Penrith Round 15. Neither side had ever made the finals and both were well in contention. Panthers coached by Tim Sheens, Steelers coached by Brian Smith. Both in their rookie year. Greg Alexander in his first season as well. The match ended 18-10 our way, three tries to...

This happens every time the Ashes are played in England.

    Todd Greenberg stands down

2% of revenue for one employee seems excessive, unless that one employee is actually doing all the work.

I think we might see a lot of player rotation, Robbo style.

Are practice games against other clubs part of the deal by which the code restarts? Might as well play reserve grade if so.

    News Coronavirus and NRL

If there's no reserve grade, they are going to have to have some way of keeping an extended squad of players match fit.

This would certainly explain why Nine were trying to get it put back to a later start. The date of the suspension starting would be March 26, the first day the NRL did not have content for Nine to broadcast as per the contract.

Melbourne certainly has. Of the 9 Melbourne-based AFL clubs none are further than 8km from the CBD, whereas contigious suburbia extends out 40km or so. Sydney and Melbourne are completely different. Melbourne will come out to watch two flies crawl up a wall, but Sydney likes events. That is why...

She took no notice of him on the stadium, I don't suppose she'll take much notice of him on this.
