    How was Leeson a journeyman? He was 7 years with the Dragons, represented New Zealand. He was a better forward than Graham in 2018, could break the line and get an off-load. Great player. Certainly not a journey man.

    Mine was mixed. The coffee machine broke down. The star attendee (my daughter) broke ranks and spent 2 hours on the phone with her boyfriend. The rest of us drank beer after which it didn't matter anymore. Bit like the Dragons season in miniature.

    Barrett couldn't fix his defence. Hasler couldn't fix his defence. I'm not sure Flanno can do much about it. But if Flanno gets his attack back to its best, I'll be satisfied.

    I thought Fitzgerald was more a second rower, and Lindsay Drake was the lock way back then. Memory is a bit scratchy though. I'll throw in Ian Russell in his prime as a better lock than JDB.

    Yes well, we have basically the same squad that finished second last last season minus a couple of juniors. To move up the ladder will require Flanno to get more out of the players we have, whether that's from improved fitness, attitude, or better tactics. It will be baby steps if we move at all.

    As far as I can tell, it has only been Flanno who has been talking about targets. He may be doing it to pacify Ben Hunt, he may be doing it to try and make the club look proactive and dynamic, or he may be doing it to make himself look good. Whichever it is, it's not working.
