    2023 Roster: Gains & Losses

    This one surprises me tbh. I do wonder why he would sign for what could essentially be a backup/ Reserve grade role. Having said that, he is having his best year and has improved markedly. There are still big holes in his game and I'm not sure his ceiling is very high.

    Well that was thoroughly enjoyable! I loved that with about 10 to go, the camera panned to the sideline and there was SJ, Harris, Curran and Egan (I think?) watching the game (uninjured). Seriously when was the last time we had the luxury of protecting our guns at the back end of a game!! So...

    3. Barnett 2. Metcalf 1. Ford HMs , Egan, Montoya, AFB, Harris, Walker Other than the try, DWZ seemed disjointed again last night. On at least two occasions he was ahead of the ball. Berry was solid, Pompey was absent.

    Outplayed for almost the entire game. 3. Harris 2. Walker 1. Ford HM- AFB, Berry, Metcalf DM - DWZ (try-scorer for sure but a defensive liability), Bunty, Ale(both pretty ineffectual.)

    3 - DWZ 4 tries, pretty hard to give him anything else 2- AFB, he and Paas must be contenders for prop of the year. 1 - SJ. Game management HM - Walker, Ford, Metcalf, Berry, Sirro, Harris. Also nice not to have to listen to Blocker!

    Interesting. I was listening to a podcast this morning that suggested CHT was going to be a upgraded Sirro replacement. Footnote: I actually like Sirro. He seems a good team man and he's done a job where-ever he's been asked ... from standoff to hooker to centre to back row. Not amazing, but...
