    Mid year tests in 2022

Well then why didn't they? Judging by the photo it seems NZ did try to claim Ponga. Theyre currently trying to get Schuster, born and raised Australian. Reimis Smith plays for NZ, born and raised Australian. But I bet you won't complain about these. Mulitalo didn't play Origin so my point is...

    Mid year tests in 2022

Ah yes, Lam, Carroll and Thorn. Who moved to QLD at 7, 6 and 8 respectively. No way you could claim these guys to be Qlders. Born and raised Kiwis I tell you. Qld has the highest NZ born population in the country. Nearly 40% of Kiwis in Australia live in QLD, so statistically Maroons should...

    Mid year tests in 2022

That's not a fact, it's just what Tony Kemp claimed. Personally if someone was born in Brisbane but moved to Auckland at 6 years old, I wouldn't want them to play for Qld or Australia All Blacks is a far more well known brand than the Maroons. Maybe he just wants to play for that logo, rather...

    Mid year tests in 2022

No, they are dual eligible, it's not desperate to chose either nation and/or state. But it's certainly more desperate than QLD selecting players that have spent their entire schooling years in QLD

Potentially Staggs if Mitchell is still injured, Koloamatangi probably the only other player with a chance for Origin

    Mid year tests in 2022

Some positions depend on whether Super league clubs release the likes of Hopoate, Hurrell or Hingano. Huddersfield have said that Lolohea will be released for the match. Amone is also eligible for Samoa so I'm unsure who he'd play for 1. Niu 2. Tupou 3. Penisini 4. Hopoate/Hurrell/Talakai 5...

    NZ should be favourites?

Dylan Brown should be at 14 if Johnson and Hughes are the halves

    Mid year tests in 2022

Of the 7 Kiwi eligible Qlders in the most recent origin. 2 were born and raised Qlders, and 4 moved to Qld before they were 7 years old, with Fotuaika moving before he was 1 yr old. NZ selecting these players would be more desperate than Qld/Australia selecting them. Ponga spent 5 years in NZ...

Reimis Smith could go on the wing

    NZ should be favourites?

Not sure Deine Mariner would be eligible for QLD anyway, not sure what age he moved to Australia, but I'm pretty sure it was while he was in highschool

    NZ should be favourites?

Foran sucks and NZ would lose by 50 if he played at 9

    NZ should be favourites?

Nikorima is still the most dangerous 14 in the comp, late in the game he can cause all sorts of trouble against a tired defence. Foran is old, slow and broken, not to mention has a career tackling percentage of 67%

    NRLW TV ratings killing AFLW

QRL has its own streaming service for every Qcup match, it's been great. Hopefully NSWRL gets something similar

    NZ should be favourites?

What does Foran offer off the bench? he can only cover the halves. Nikorima or Marshall-King would be a better choice IMO

Huddersfield wouldn't block Tui Lolohea from playing in Tonga test

    NZ should be favourites?

Probably wishful thinking from me. But I do think they've got the second best pack behind Australia. For the halves Loloheas been good for Huddersfield and always steps up for Tonga, and if Staggs keeps up the form he showed last night he could be the most dangerous 5/8 in the wc

    NZ should be favourites?

Walsh has already chosen QLD/Australia over NZ and would've made his Origin debut last year if not for injury. Can't imagine Foran plays ahead of Johnson or Brown either. I'd definitely put Australia and Tonga as the 2 favourites, but NZ are certainly a chance

I just think Manu is a much better FB than CNK, but I did initially have it the other way around. DWZ is still out with a broken thumb, he always steps up for the KIwis but I don't think he'd be a huge loss if the Warriors didn't release him

That's the team I'd select if the Warriors refused to release players, hence no Johnson
