  1. The Axe of Druss

    2023 off season

The no alcohol after an injury, especially concussions, is part of the NRLs level 1 trainers course. For context, teams from u13s upwards need at least one level 1 trainer to play a game
  2. The Axe of Druss

    2023 Trial Games

No Hetherington is unusual Does he have an injury?
  3. The Axe of Druss

    Rumoured Targets 3

We have some very good outside backs coming through Ball and Flegg right now. We'd be mad to throw too much at Young and completely screw our team balance and depth Anything over $500k would be idiotic. Even that is probably too high
  4. The Axe of Druss

    2023 Trial Games

While I agree, I genuinely think there is some value playing him in the middle. His defence there today was very very good and he could develop to be a solid role player there My preference is for him to be in reggies though
  5. The Axe of Druss

    2023 Trial Games

Nothing I saw today from Jones has changed my mind about him being much more a middle than an edge player
  6. The Axe of Druss

    2023 Trial Games

I know it was only a trial but we just look smaller and weaker than the Sharks across the board
  7. The Axe of Druss

    2023 Trial Games

Would make sense. It's essentially a 3/4 new spine so they need a few reps together before Rd 1
  8. The Axe of Druss

    2023 off season

RL is a simple game and complicating it often leads to failure I don't view a "simple game plan" as a terrible thing
  9. The Axe of Druss

    2023 off season

Yep, its they way of things with the Knights fanbase Bloke podcast calling it a terrible decision because he was "U19s NSW rep". Never mind that he was still behind Safs x2, Croker, Hetherington and Thompson and was 100/1 of getting a shot at 1st grade anytime soon. we all know junior reps...
  10. The Axe of Druss

    Knights Lower Grade Stuff

  14. The Axe of Druss

    Rumoured Targets 3

I think you misheard mate. Was definitely Keeley
  15. The Axe of Druss

    Rumoured Targets 3

Just listened to Barry Toohey on SEN and apparently the Sharks wanted Oryn Keeley as a swap but the club knocked it back. Bradbury was their 2nd choice
  16. The Axe of Druss

    Rumoured Targets 3

Im sure he was and it sucks to lose good prospects Thing is, the middle is where we have our youngest group of 1st graders right now so a guy like Bradbury would have been fighting for a spot and the club needs other positions sured up, hooker and the halves especially. If we traded a good...
  17. The Axe of Druss

    Rumoured Targets 3

Not what I meant mate KP is more selective sure but his strength is his ball play and elusiveness with his running. I'd like to see his involvement go up like everyone else but that doesn't seem to be an issue when he plays rep. It's like he and the team are coached differently....
  18. The Axe of Druss

    Rumoured Targets 3

Tedesco is all effort, energy and ADHD running. He's effective because he is everywhere and very hard to stop in contact Ponga is a very different style player. Not sure if want him to play the way Teddy does

  20. The Axe of Druss

    Rumoured Targets 3

Our Ball and Flegg sides are stacked with talent, they'll be coming through from 2024 onwards if they are handled right (Big if i know, i know) We may not see it now but my view is the club is at least attempting to follow the Penrith model of focusing on juniors. The latest recruitment drive...
