The fact the corner look well populated and they are the cheapest tickets, tells a story too. Was reading online where we people were going into purchase tickets but refused to pay the 70 pounds...so walked out.

Blowout scores a bore? Or an opportunity?

Don't waste your breath....I tried explaining how the game here in NZ is on life support...but I am wrong apparently and a troll 👀 The model we have tried over the last two years is playing league before and after Rugby season. It as been a massive success with 8 men's teams, 3 women's and then...

Blowout scores a bore? Or an opportunity?

NZRL have been very clear in discussions with us that the only income they have is through the Kiwis. During a RLWC year they make a loss with the profits all going to the governing body. No mid season tests is really going to hurt NZRL next year.

Interesting...should result in a larger crowd but does confirm they got the pricing wrong.

Blowout scores a bore? Or an opportunity?

8 nations 😄😄😄 Please Samoa and Tonga are 100% heritage....no development of local players...no tests at home...no elite junior development...just picking players on heritage....great improvement since 1995 RLWC. Scotland, Ireland, Cook Islands, Samoa, Tonga and Lebanon have been playing in RLWC...

What facts? The one where sky tv is putting money in to the grass roots? I know they have been televisions more local rep games this year...but apart from that, nothing. NZRL are only interested in high performance, not grass roots. You can believe what you want, I live it here in NZ and been...

Blowout scores a bore? Or an opportunity?

It's been lackluster, to the fact where I didn't bother watching the majority of the games or turned them off after 20 mins. Just read the majority of the social media comments...its nearly 2-1 in the negative. Also discussing with work colleagues, the majority who knew about the tournament...

I'm not a union fan....I have been following RLWC since 1995. Rugby League in NZ is on life support, and that is a fact. I am involved in the grass roots level and district rep level and I'm telling you now in a several years time it's more than likely going to die unless we see a massive...

Kiwis won't get past Australia unless they have an off day. Even if they do manage to win the RLWC, it won't make much difference, like 2008. You do know the Warriors had their worst season ever this year and are a running joke in NZ sport? They are an embarrassment to NZ league and its little...

Again another opinion based argument with zero facts...there is no vision In the international game. If there was we would have a plan on next year's games....who's touring etc etc In 22 years and 5 RLWC's, we are in no better position IMO. The big great hope after each World Cup is nations...
