    Regular Season Thoughts

It's legit already a successful season regardless of what happens in a few weeks. Super coach Robbo makes another Prelim final as well.

    Regular Season Thoughts

Good post Headless, agree with all of it. You could almost safely say it's been consistently inconsistent this season. Outside of Melbourne, all the quality sides have slipped up plenty. I have no doubt last season played a good role for the young guns. I think what stood out this season was...

    Regular Season Thoughts

Now the regular season is behind us and we're onto the business end of the season, curious to get other opinions on how our Home and Away season went down. Finishing 2nd behind this juggernaut of a storm side could be looked at as a very good season, and it definitely is. Anytime you finish top...

Looking back at the bottom 8

Mate, Souths won 2 more games than wests this year. It's hardly something you should gloat over considering how little you rate them. How do you think they'll fare next season? TKe off the tiger dislike glasses and give me an honest assessment

    Mayweather Vs McGregor

This is my opinion and not many may agree, but I think Connors power was over estimated. He has power in that left hand but I believe it's his timing that contributes more than his raw power. I may be wrong of course but the way he knocked out Aldo was more through timing than straight raw...

I'd be absolutely fuming if I was Saints as well. We've illegally met with VVD and turned his head so much that his position is practically untenable. All for the sake of trying to get the deal done a little cheaper than we wanted to pay. They have every right to tell us to go f**k our selves...

LFC have to be careful tho as the original complaint by Saints is still on file and can be further investigated at any minute. Hard to argue the transfer doesn't reek of dodginess if we try to get it done.

Wonder if Saints will soften and actually sell to us. RBL clearly have, hopefully we won't be paying the £70m + for Naby either now we waiting a full season

Best me to it MJ This only makes sense if we have a similar agreement with Barca for Couts. Tho if lemar is being looked at for Couts spot then maybe NK is there to replace Can, who still hasn't signed the new contract, and by all reports will leave when his current contract expires.

Yeah I just had a read up of him, I thought he was a more out and out forward. Guess we'll have to see what Klopp wants to do with him should the link turn into an actual transfer. Apparently a decent deadball taker as well. Be hard replacing Couts with his free kick speckies from 35yards.

I don't see how Lemar is a replacement for Couts. If we are replacing Couts position from last season then we've already got Salah in. If it's to replace him in a deeper midfield role like he was meant to play this season then going after another forward/winger makes no sense. Really don't...

Just watched the arsenal replay and it was truly a complete team Performance. Arsenal are in deep shit, you don't mind losing on talent but when players don't put in and carry that sort of attitude, then it spells doom for Arsene and the club. We really showcased a wonderful counter...

    Mayweather Vs McGregor

yeah 40 year old Floyd definitely wouldn't stop anyone with one shot, just think it was a possibility that Connor would've went down and stayed down with PBF turning the heat right up for another 8 mins. Possibility of 3 knockdowns in the round stopping the fight as well. Have to admit I...

    Mayweather Vs McGregor

You don't think Floyd would've eventually been able to knock Connor down for the 10 count? There was 2 mins left in rd10 and he had nothing left. Basically had another 8 mins of defenceless opponent to try to knock out. Floyd was launching and I honestly think it would've happened due to a...

We were so bad last time under BR. Thankfully we are a much better side this time around, just hope they rip in like they did against hoffenheim in first 20.

We jagged a very good group for the champions league imo. Maribor, Spartak Moscow and Sevilla. It's a group we can definitely progress from and possibly win.

Be interesting to see how Klopp continues to work with Couts if we do stand firm and keep him. We all know what's gone on with Sakho and him not given another chance at the club. Granted Couts is our main man in midfield, he's still surely lost the trust of management at the moment.

Possibly but they are nowhere near as desperate as Barca are at the moment imo.

It just shows the arrogance of the f**kers. PSG has rattled them by doing a smash and grab on Neymar. They now think it's ok to bully both us and BVB into letting our players go cheaply/on horseshit payment terms. The last bid had nearly £40m made up on add ons and only £80m cash. We should be...

So apparently Coutinho has made himself unavailable for selection and is t training either. He really wants the Barca move, and I have no doubt this is a result of The Catalan scum giving him the now or never ultimatum. In a way I hope we stand firm and get big $$$ with a lot of cash upfront...
