    GF Panthers vs Storm

I was worried from the first set when we were on their line & we played the most conservative set I've seen us play. Actually the week before we were up 14 - 6 just after half time & had a similar opportunity to attack Souths line & we threw absolutely nothing at them as well.

While I don't necessarily agree with Silverdale, I'm all for other supporters giving their opinion especially if they're well thought out. FFS stop being so sensitive, the constant whinging is ruining good conversations.

    Great pick up.

Rumoured and Confirmed signings - Part 4

May playing the roving lock role off the bench gives us another dimension in attack imo. We missed that massively during the GF.

Rumoured and Confirmed signings - Part 4

If Nadens on the outer due to his defensive deficiencies, Staggs ain’t any better.

    GF Panthers vs Storm

I think some are overanalysing it. We played badly, they played better. I agree that Cleary made some baffling decisions of late but in reality we play like we did last week (which was still below par compared to the rest of the year) & we win. Kiks made some real poor errors but I understand...

Rumoured and Confirmed signings - Part 4

If I’m Burton & I can get significantly more money & a starting spot in the position I want to play, I’m going. He might be a better bloke than me though.

Rhyno you’ve always been a man of great wisdom.

    GF Panthers vs Storm

We use our right centre in attack very sparsely if at all, if May is better defensively then I think he’s your go.

I thought it was common knowledge Nadens off to Melbourne or did I just make that up??

    Fair enough.

Youve lost the plot Umina. He had hands like feet last night but when he held it he was dynamic. Constantly beat players with his footwork & line running. Defence strong also.

    PF2 Panthers vs Rabbits

He certainly offers something in the middle of the field, which is why Id prefer him off the bench. Imo he can’t utilise his best attributes at centre. It’s too late now regardless, I’m not bringing in Whare at this point. Just thought it would’ve made more sense to give Whare a run v Dogs &...

    PF2 Panthers vs Rabbits

We don’t need him to offer anything / much, Hence why May was picked over Naden.

    PF2 Panthers vs Rabbits

I give you the first 3. Ponga & Mitchell on their best days, absolutely, but they aren’t in the same stratosphere in terms of consistency, effort or work rate. He plays the way we need him to play. His ability to get between defenders when bringing the ball back, falling on his front & getting...

    PF2 Panthers vs Rabbits

Big call from Cleary re; Naden but thought that side did a serious on walker & co. Given its likely to be wet, can’t see anyone but May at centre again next week but we definitely lack another dimension in attack with him not on the bench. Tbh can’t understand why Whare hasn’t had another run if...

Marsters has been pulled for Cartwright several times this year. I think they'll go with Cartwright.

Rumoured and Confirmed signings - Part 4

f**k me, shafting Edwards for Laurie who has one game under his belt, c'mooooon. Edwards is an integral part of our side. His stability & positioning at the back balances out some of the more erratic players within our squad. We have a great mix. The 'all attack' mentality / selection policy may...

    2020 PF1 - Panthers 20-16 Rabbitohs @ ANZ

Should be a cracker, looking forward to it. But lets be honest, if Cook was put in the bin like he should've been this would be a Penny v Parra thread.
