    The main issue with Hetherington Imo, is that he’s trying too hard to live up to tag or being the enforcer & aggressor tag. Hopefully with age comes maturity. In regards to Prior, I honestly don’t see anything he can do that someone like Ellis can’t.

    Leota was arguably our best forward the last couple of months of the competition. Leinu looks a great prospect. I’m not saying don’t buy depth or someone to challenge for their position - say circa $200k, but we are desperately short in other positions where the money could be better used.

    Not sure our set-up or structure helped Edwards in any way though. A bit of unpredictability around the ruck & through the halves should give Edwards a bit room which should benefit the side. Barrett's acquisition could be a masterstroke.

    What does Kenny do better then Egan/Katoa though? He was more enthusiastic for sure, but most rookies are when they first come in. Potentially better defensively? I don’t think his delivery, running game, kicking game are better then the other 2.

    Don’t agree. We had a 7 & 6 on circa $2m combined, who got the ball whenever they wanted & they created nothing. The dumb mistakes came from trying to create something when the players that should’ve weren’t.

    If Api can kick (sort of) with Cleary I don't think it's essential the 6 has to kick. Luai can dribble a few into the in goal & that can be his kicking duties.

    I respectfully disagree with that. I think people get too caught up in being a ‘quality’ structured football team, with set plays, block plays etc etc I think with Luai it’s more a matter of throwing enough darts & one will stick, give him the ball as much as possible, force him to Run it...
