    I think I'm on both sides tbh. He's not worth $1m alone on playing ability, he may never be, but I think his signing is more than just playing. It's about his image, having him associated to the club. Bit of stability in a crucial position, whether or not he's up to it.

    Bennett was coming because he thought the current squad (prior to Cleary putting a broom through it) was capable of winning the comp. I don't think he would of had enough time or the ability to significantly screw our cap, everyone was already locked in.

    Dallin was also getting pushed out the door when his form/attitude dropped. I think people underestimate the mental impact it has on a professional player when they're told they're no longer required at the club & should look at other options. Especially a player who has been in the club system...

    I could see the Roosters letting Latrell walk. Still seems to have some minor issues off field & seemed pretty unmotivated towards the back end of the year. With Manu & Tedesco, seems they have enough strike power already.

    I don't think he was a superstar but he barely made an error & (IMO) looked threatening around the ruck. Given he was coming into a team where every players confidence was shot to pieces, I think he did well.

    Aekins really is the forgotten man IMO. Not sure why we didn't try & give him a run at centre. Stepped up every time he played first grade.

    Not sure about that. The attitude across the board seemed off which would make you assume the whole preseason (fitness included) missed the mark considerably which falls on the coach. I don’t think it was just a matter if not doing enough laps etc.

    Leilua would be a great pick up. I think our pack badly needs some variety. It's desperate times when I'm saying this about every player mentioned... but seriously Leilua will be a cracking player in a year or two.
