    WCC news

The WCC would have more relevance if it was held in October, after both leagues deciders with their winning squads. Might make it more attractive. If I'm not mistaken it's what they did in 1997.

    LEAKED: Kangaroos World Cup Squad

As if Aaron Woods wouldn't be there.

    2018 Draw

I think the NRL gets to dictate to the networks who is playing on what days, thus preventing the Brisbane monotiny of Friday night games and 7-day turnarounds.

    2018 home game allocation

Parramatta only get that stadium due to the Wanderers fanbase

    2018 home game allocation

^ Because that's completely abandoning the Macarthur region, leaving it wide open for other teams to take advantage of. WT needs to fixup the Lilyfield dump and then the NRL might return its fixtures and thus give the 6 games to Campbelltown that it deserves

    2018 home game allocation

Complete and utter alienation of the fans. Campbelltown loses more games and is just an ornament by the railway these days. The reason it's losing games is because Balmain aligned board members won't allow it to host more than that inner city dump at Lilyfield. 4 games at ANZ would give us -...

    Middle 8s

Yes the NRL is flawed because the doomed Gold Coast franchise is failing again, when Perth, Central Coast and Wellington were all more feasible.

    2018 Draw

So Brisbane will still get over 50% of their games on a Thursday/Friday. You'd bet that's all their home fixtures plus a Cowboys away game.

    Middle 8s

Hull KR finished ahead of Huddersfield last year and bounced back from their relegation. Catalans awful recruitment of sub-standard players offcast from other clubs has contributed to their plight. No point blaming the RFL for this happening. They could have beaten Widnes this past weekend to be...

    Middle 8s

If Catalans were better at what they were doing, they wouldn't be in the situation they find themselvs in.

    2018 Draw

I won't hold my breath on the NRL delivering a draw when they say it'll be delivered. Stunned at Wests decision to take a further 2 games from the traditional venues and further alienate disenfranchised fans.
  12. Tigers1986

    Middle 8s

It's nobody's fault other than their own. They've suffered the same fate that KR suffered last year in making a meal of the 8's format - beat Widnes and they were secure. Relegation could reinvigorate them, especially with a 'derby' against Toulouse.

    Middle 8s

Catalans have nobody to blame but themselves. Not many finals appearances in their 11 years and facing relegation to the Championship on the back of a horrible, horrible season. Maybe it's a kick to the guts that they deserve to start developing a team properly.

    Toronto Wolfpack in League 1

So basically everything people knew was going to happen, happened (Bradford relegated, Toronto walking League 1 for promotion). Should've swapped them at the start of the year.

    Rovers are back!

Perfect season? They lost 4 times. They were always going to go back up. Widnes or Catalans will go down instead of them

    Wests Tigers Intrust team

Actually it was Paul Stringer who was coach of the ISP side last year. I thought Hodgson was back as assistant to IC and ISP coach (with it moving to the curtain raiser spot over the NYC). Also read that the team was being rebranded as Wests Magpies.

    Wests Tigers Intrust team

Lose to Mounties by a point in the prelim last year (should've won it tbh) and back it up with a convincing wooden spoon season. Huge fall there and hopefully Hodgo cleans them up and gets them competing again next season.

    ?? G.C. bears for 2017 ??

If they do get the Bears name it sorta ties into the old Seagulls colour scheme.

    WWE SuperThread II *Spoilers*

Nakamura losing (so easily) is the only blight I have on the show. They're really going to run this Indian audience thing into the ground while abandoning everyone else. 4 months ago he was jobbing in dark matches, now he's putting Orton, Cena & Nakamura aside.
