Why wouldnt it be, Souths v Warriors have had 3 sell outs in Perth over recent years so its the obvious choice. Souths crowds in Perth have dropped a bit since they stopped playing the Warriors.Seriously?

So it's scheduled for release in late October? Then I look forward to seeing it in mid December.
So Brisbane will still get over 50% of their games on a Thursday/Friday. You'd bet that's all their home fixtures plus a Cowboys away game.

Probably because they have to cross over 4 time zones, travelling distance and they are forced to go each year. Perhaps the Tigers should play in Perth instead? Why wouldnt it be, Souths v Warriors have had 3 sell outs in Perth over recent years so its the obvious choice. I've heard the away teams for the Perth Round 1 double-header are indeed NZ Warriors and Melbourne Storm (just waiting on confirmation). The games are indeed on the Saturday, but keep in mind daylight savings will still be in action, which WA doesn't have (because, basically, the majority of the locals are morons ... trust me, I live here!), so that will most likely put the games at about 2:30pm and 4:30pm WA time (5:30pm and 7:30pm EDST).
I'd assume the roof will be closed?
Can someone clarify what it means when they say the NRL has “control of the scheduling”? From what I understand, they choose who plays who, but the match times are still determined by the broadcasters. If so, it sounds like it’s just going to be like putting lipstick on a pig as far as improvements go.
Dragons and Tigers having 4 venues is just f**ked. I applauded them for taking games to new venues but how can a fans commit when a club won't. Especially the Tigers where they have Leichhardt on one side of Sydney and Campbelltown on the other, just goes to show how not to merge two clubs into one
I think the NRL gets to dictate to the networks who is playing on what days, thus preventing the Brisbane monotiny of Friday night games and 7-day turnarounds.
