Match Discussion: Round 26 vs Raiders @ Leichhardt Oval

If the Raiders aren't playing for 2nd then I feel their intensity won't be as high as it could be. Will be an honourary Cowboy come Saturday night. It's going to be amazing packed in at LO watching it on Sunday. Can't wait!

    Ron Massey Cup/Sydney Shield 2016

Snapped ankle. Ouch. St Marys are doing some great stuff in RMC and I fear the cogs are coming off at Wests - they belted Mounties and Wenty but have fallen to Asquith & St Marys in the last month. At least they have 2 bites at the cherry in this finals campaign.

    Ron Massey Cup/Sydney Shield 2016

The NSWRL's management of these lower-tiered competitions is beyond embarrassing. Withstanding the whole Kingsgrove RMC issue that's been a plague for 3 seasons now, the constant forfeits, soft abandoning of games with a speckle of rain and such just makes it look really unorganised and...

Should Australia have a challenge cup?

Yes, we should. However, nobody in power at the NRL has the capacity to organise such a competition, nor would the players (who already whinge about burnout) get on board with it. I like the idea about using SOO weekends for the NRL sides to take part. You have X qualifiers leading into SOO 1...

    Super 8's

London have given the 8's a good shake, really pushed Leeds which was a pleasant surprise. You'd have to think Leigh account for Featherstone & Batley, giving them 4 wins. Makes their showdowns with the other SL cubs all the more tantalising given victory in one of those 3 would almost assure...

    Ron Massey Cup/Sydney Shield 2016

Roosters apparently won't allow them to compete in the Shield. That's where the NSWRL should intervene and dictate what happens. It's an absolute joke.

    The Hooker dilemma

Moses has blossomed without Farah. Farah is all about Farah, it's been proven for us since 2012 and proven in the NSW setup. His best days are well behind him and JT has been perfectly justified in his decision to drop him. The old horse can no longer win the cup and big money so he's making way...

    The Hooker dilemma

Rankin and/or Littlejohn can fill in, Marshall-King plays alright there. We have Liddle & Ballin to go into 2017 with, plus there's Dayne Craig in the Maggies squad should we need him.

    Moses

Loyalty and brotherhood will keep the unit together. Teddy rejected Canberra to stay with his mates.

    Moses

Amazing how he shines when Farah is booted. Taylor has been completely justified in his selection choice.

    Ron Massey Cup/Sydney Shield 2016

Kingsgrove getting another season of beltings laid into them. Embarrassing to the competition. Wests should put 60+ on them today.

Match Discussion: Round 21 vs Eels @ ANZ Stadium

Scratchy win but it accomplished what we needed. Brooks' injury is a downer although Hunt or Littlejohn can do a good enough fix it role if need be the next few weeks. We defended well which is a positive sign but the attack didn't kill the game like we could have done. Big improvement required...

    English lower leagues

http://www.skysports.com/rugby-league/news/12213/10515596/bradford-bulls-bullish-about-hmrc-winding-up-petition How the mighty have fallen. Would be a sad day if they ever did actually wind up. Poor management all around from the Bulls to take them from those lofty heights to a 3rd season in...

    Ron Massey Cup/Sydney Shield 2016

Kingsgrove belted once more. The laughing stock continues.

    Ron Massey Cup/Sydney Shield 2016

The Kingsgrove 'experiment' needs to end. It's a colossal joke. Replace them with Glebe, The Entrance, or go back to 12 teams and eliminate the skewed draw.

    Ron Massey Cup/Sydney Shield 2016

Wests back in the winners circle with a sound 42-26 win over Guildford today. They have a bye next weekend and then face the daunting prospect of Kingsgrove.

    Ron Massey Cup/Sydney Shield 2016

They were aware. Apparently it was Wests' fault the kid was acting up. Lol.

    Ron Massey Cup/Sydney Shield 2016

Preston, Shannon's son, actually came over at halftime and wanted to cease his ballboy duties due to the child. From what I've heard & know, that's never happened before.

    Getting to stadium

I'm positive there are several buses that operate from Woden that travel to Bruce and in return on game day. Easy as anything to get to the stadium and back.

    Ron Massey Cup/Sydney Shield 2016

It's been the only game where an issue has come up. That ball boy was being physically & verbally abusive towards Shannon's child & wife, so you can't blame him for snapping and having a crack. Ball boys should hold themselves with the same dignity and integrity that the players & officials do.
