    Zac Lomax

Real opportunity for Flanagan at a later point in the season if he does have a change of mind and Parramatta are serious about wanting Lomax to join them for the run home to the finals, depending on where both clubs are placed. No thanks to Sivo, Matterson and a few other names that have been...

KOE (ex Canterbury Cup) and Jersey Flegg

A few observations after watching the full game today. Egan and the Couchmans look like the only forwards who could step up to first grade in the future. Fifita is a chance if he applies himself and plays the next few months in reserve grade. Made one really strong charge in the 2nd half, but...

KOE (ex Canterbury Cup) and Jersey Flegg

At Lidcombe Oval for Roy Masters Cup day. Dragons 14-6 at half time. Tuipulotu going well on the wing. Egan and Toby Couchman solid in the middle.

    The Rumours Thread

Flanagan would know whether he would be worth a look from his time at Manly. No club will be taking him on at a full freight of $800K a season. Manly will have to chip in $250K to $300K to find him a new home.

    Flanno's New Signings

According to the report by Carayannis the other day we have not made any formal offer to Petaia. Think we might be getting ahead of ourselves that he is anywhere near a done deal and that he is switching to rugby league next year.

    The Rumours Thread

Yes Ayios, Fulton would have a deep knowledge of not only first grade talent, but the junior nurseries of both Manly and the Tigers, and plenty of contacts around the game. Would also take a bit of the heat off Flanagan in the recruitment process. Much easier to say who he wants, and then send...

    The Rumours Thread

Fulton was also one of the prime reasons many of the Polynesian players joined Manly. Personally, I hope we sign him. We could really use a few of those big Polynesian boppers in our pack and throughout the lower grades. Plus, takes Millward away from the recruitment space altogether.

KOE (ex Canterbury Cup) and Jersey Flegg

Jersey Flegg today. Dragons leading the Knights 30-16 nearing full time.

    The Rumours Thread

According to nine news tonight, Lomax is meeting with Parramatta tomorrow, who are looking at offering a deal up to 2027. As far as the Matterson swap rumour for this year, thinking and hoping Flanagan will want something more than that.

    Zac Lomax

So Chammas confirmed on channel 9 tonight that Lomax has been granted permission to negotiate with other clubs for 2025.

    The Rumours Thread

Heard Carayannis asked again about the Lomax situation a bit earlier on the ABC. Said that Blaize Talagi has an option in his favour for next year if he wants to leave Parramatta. Said if there was a swap agreed to for Lomax this year, Talagi would play at 6 for the Dragons. Flanagan looking at...

KOE (ex Canterbury Cup) and Jersey Flegg

Dragons 30 d Manly 28 in the Jersey Flegg. Jett Liu sent off early in the 2nd half.

Report on Fox Sports website saying the Dragons have had talks with Mitch Kenny.

    The Rumours Thread

Carayannis said a few weeks back that Penrith were well advanced in their negotiations with both Tago and May, so no other club really got a look in. Terrell is meeting with the Rooster's management on Monday, with the expectation he will sign a new deal next week. My understanding was he would...

    The Rumours Thread

There was also talk not so long back that the rah rahs were interested in him. There would be plenty of clubs wanting to talk to him if he becomes available.

KOE (ex Canterbury Cup) and Jersey Flegg

So Jersey Flegg final score Knights 28 d Dragons 4. See Hamish Stewart was replaced due to a HIA in the first minute of the game, and did not come back on with the 18th man replacement initiated. Hope the young fella will be okay.

Works that way in most places in life @Illusion. But this is the NRL, where contracts mean very little to a lot of players and their managers.

KOE (ex Canterbury Cup) and Jersey Flegg

Same here, TheRev, good detailed match summary. The main concern for me is it was 4all at half time in the KOE Cup game. 24 unanswered points and zero points added for us in the second half. Hopefully as a few more troops drop back, things will improve.

    R2 v Dolphins.

Just heard Ben Hunt interviewed on the ABC. Fairly happy about last night, but highlighted the need to cut back on the silly/unforced errors. Matt Elliott is also on the panel today, and confirmed Lawrie, Leilua and Sele are all good to go for the game v the Dolphins.

    R1 v Titans.

Defence will always go a long way to winning a game of football. We have got those two competition points, and that is all that counts. But holding them to only 4 points is a very impressive way to start the Flanagan era.
