Get in early I'm 1-1.
Will be a tough game against Bennett's boys.
After a great start
Will Lawrie, Luc or Sele be in or stick with the same 17.
That will be the dilemma for Flanno. Somehow I think that Blake Lawrie will be rested again. Sele may not be totally ready and fit and LL could need a bit more training. So I wouldn't be surprised if he keeps the same 17 against the Dolphins.

Couple of injuries for both sides wouldn't go astray.
It is great in a way that these two teams we will be playing in rounds 2 and 3 respectively. Shane and Dean Young can look at how both teams perform and work out their pros and cons, weaknesses and strengths and determine the game plans for each. If the Cows beat the Dolphins say, Dean and Flanno can work out how they were able to achieve this and vice versa and that will be great for our game plans.

Injuries to players of both teams, while I'm not wanting anyone to suffer, would be good as you say TheRev.

Just heard Ben Hunt interviewed on the ABC.
Fairly happy about last night, but highlighted the need to cut back on the silly/unforced errors.
Matt Elliott is also on the panel today, and confirmed Lawrie, Leilua and Sele are all good to go for the game v the Dolphins.
Wonder if we bring them all in at once, especially Sele and Leilua considering they didn't trial and their fitness will be down. Can we afford to carry 2-3 players whose fitness currently might not quite be where it needs to be? Will have to be far more disciplined with those errors Hunt is speaking about if we do bring all 3 in at once. Lots of defending like the team did against the Titans in the first half isn't going to be what those guys need

The most impressive aspect of last nights game was our defence.

It was evident also in the second trial. Teams had set after set on our line and we repelled them. Flanno won his comp with that mindset. He mentioned our resilience in the post game presser.

With the likes of Sloane, Rava, Suli, Lomax etc we can score points. We all knew that last year but our defence was all over the place. Players rushing out of the line was par for the course. It took GC a very nice kick behind the line to break us.

Defend like that, and we will be competitive. Cant wait until next round.

Not a gambling man but I see Dolphins are currently favourites for this game. Value there. This is fine by me but I believe they will be lucky to have Stone or Lemeulu for the game and already missing Gilbert. Pretty sure Bromwich on report too and I saw Kenneth Bromwich cop a bad head knock although he seemed to stay on the field.

On the other hand we are getting impact players back so I will be tipping Dragons for sure.

That did not look like a Bennett coached side. Looked more like a post Bennett coached side. Confident but concerned for the clash.
