    I have no issues with Bateman coming, much better option than Host, Chee Kam etc. But yes totally agree we need props not second rows to complete our squad for next season. So it’s puzzling that he would be a target

    I agree ilias has a solid passing game and very astute tackler for his size. Converting him to dummy half could turn his career around. also yes if Dodd fails we can move JH to the 7 and Ilias as the 9. Then Pete can be the back up.

    I think a lot of this is because Cody has move to the other side. Wighton has struggled to get Johnston a lot of clean ball. Maybe with Mitchell back he can put a few passes on the chest for him

    I would still like to try and convert Ilias into a 9. He has the passing skills and the defence needed to be successful. Him and humphries (when announced) could be a solid 2 options with Pete still here for another season also
