    In the long term it won’t help Tonga or Samoa. Are we going to allow the Australian-born children of current ‘heritage’ players to play for those nations also? They will have long since ceased being national representative teams by that point.

    The growth in international Rugby League crowds in Brisbane places even more pressure for a Suncorp Stadium upgrade. Other sports would have got that crowd Friday night and immediately demanded a $3 billion stadium.
