It's because they're not really international teams but second-generation Australian cultural identity expressions. I'm not necessarily knocking that, but we have to understand what they really are. But because of their recent success, you've got pommie fans like AFL Red who want Aussies to be...

    WA BEARS

Perth have been sniffing their own farts about the inclusion of them alone makes a competition ‘national’. As such they’ve presented an arrogant and weak bid expecting to have the welcome mat rolled out: Shitty stadium No license fee Very poor ratings I’d like to see a Perth team as much as...

    2024 GF | PREMIERS - Penrith 14-6 Melbourne @ Accor

Enjoy the game fans and neutrals alike. I’m listening in to ABC radio from North Borneo. Think this one will be a classic!

Partially true. He said this would happen within "one or two years". The speech was given in March 2023. Either way, not sure why it's worth correcting, given the absurd nature of the comments.

    2024 NRL finals matchups/schedule/locations

It may not have been this. There are only so many flights for that route. Seats may have already been booked before NQ won their semi on Saturday. This circumstance is the reality of running a national competition. It's not as newsworthy or controversial as being made out.

    2024 NRL finals matchups/schedule/locations

Idiots? To ensure their showpiece finals series is not impacted by travel impediments. Seems like smart business to me. Were they idiots to do the same for Newcastle last week, or is the idiocy just travel one way (pardon the pun)?

    2024 NRL finals matchups/schedule/locations

Cronulla have only strengthened arguments against themselves that they should be relocated. They hold a tenuous grip on their place in a national league.

    2024 FW2 Fri - Cronulla 26-18 North Qld @ Allianz

It might be counterintuitive but we're 8/12 on the road this year and 5/7 in Sydney. Better than the home record. That won't be the issue, rather it will the ability for this playing group to lift to the intensity required to win. Particularly in controlling the ruck.

Way too many Sydney teams in this finals series. 3-4 is the sweet spot.

Cronulla’s semi final clash against North Queensland next Friday night will not be played at Shark Park, with the NRL instead favouring Allianz Stadium in Sydney’s eastern suburbs as the venue. Late on Saturday night, The Daily Telegraph reported that Parramatta’s CommBank stadium was set to...

It was 60 minutes before we got a penalty. Hard done by Knights though.
