Angus looks so much better now that he's in the red, white and blue of Easts. and he looks happier now, too.

The greatest club side of all time (one year only)

Limiting this to one year only (so people can't say Easts 1935-36-37, or St George 11 in a row, or Parra 1981-82-83), what do you think is the greatest club team of all time? To me, as a Roosters fan, it would be hard to beat the legendary Easts team of 1935, with Dave Brown and co setting lots...

its better to exist and get an occasional spoon (3 over 50 years is ok) than to not exist at all

    2019 Jerseys/Logos/Sponsorships

i remember there was an off season when Easts struggled to find a major sponsor (eventually Steggles stepped up :) ), so our jerseys during the offseason had ROOSTERMANIA where the main sponsor would have been. If the Sharks can't find a major sponsor then maybe they could get ROOSTERMANIA onto...

    Warriors release Johnson

I'm struggling to see why we (Easts) would sign Johnson for 2020. We like to develop our own players. Lachlan Lam will be our halfback once Coops retires. Throwing big money at SJ7 isn't our modus operandi

i agree. Uncle Nick is awesome and totally deserving of a thread to celebrate all that he has done for Rugby League, the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney and the Roosters. its too bad that there are trolls (clearly jealous of Uncle Nick's financial and rugby league success) who wish to disrupt this thread.

    2019 Jerseys/Logos/Sponsorships

quality jersey. simple but effective. one look at it and you instantly know which club it is. the jersey has history. best jersey for 2019 released thus far. Though odd that we have no sleeve sponsor. Would have thought sponsoring the reigning premiers would be an attractive proposition for...

So the knights have splashed some big money to sign Australian international David Klemmer. Ponga, SKD, Moga, Ramien, Hunt/Lee, Watson, Pearce, Klemmer, Lino, Gavet/Glasby, Guerra, Ese'ese, Griffin. Knights could realistically field a starting side made up of big name purchases next year...

stop trolling PR. We all know the Roosters are a great development club who will occasionally add a star signing or two to complete a potential premiership winning roster

Nick Politis is the entrepreneurial genius of the NRL.

if thats the case then the Roosters don't buy premierships either. Our team is generally made up of players who have come through our development systems (e.g. Latrell, Manu, Cordner, Friend) and scrap heap players (e.g. Fergo, Keary, Tetevano, Taukeiaho), with a couple of big signings (e.g...
