Is it time for the NRL to stand down (with pay) players charged with a violent crime?

Effectively scott free then :) . I think you can argue that he should not be picked for Australia regardless. On Napa , a severe kick up the ass was def in order. but it also shows what a vile creature the leaker of the video is. I disagree on Burgess what he did was as bad as Pearce (or worse)...

Is it time for the NRL to stand down (with pay) players charged with a violent crime?

I think Beattie and Greenburg should be stood down for bringing the game into disrepute. That Inglis and Burgess (and this is not an anto Souths thing) were not punished for their indiscretions is bringing the game into question. Especially Inglis, that was an extremely bad thing he did and he...

    No Tackle Minis

no wrestle in minis, although some idiots do try and teach kids that. When I have coached the little ones I love when they tackle around the legs, but its more about getting them confident to put their body into the tackle safely. I had a kid in the u7s last year that tackled like a demon round...

    No Tackle Minis

I was sure I watched some u6s at Cabra last year and they were tackling.

    No Tackle Minis

I have been reading a bit lately about the push to have U6s and possibly U7s not tackle. I am not a fan of this for various reasons. The sooner they get the confidence and ability to tackle the better. In my many years involved in junior RL I can't remember seeing a mini's player get serious...

2019 NSWRL Tarsha Gale Cup (U18)

the indigenous academy run a couple of teams in some lower age groups that compete on one weekend. I am not too sure of the details or if they are also aligned with the Roosters. The players are brought from all over the place The current squad has players from Newcaslte, Inverell, Illawarra...

    2019 SG Ball & Matts

Not sure what is going on down there, I have heard they are struggling for numbers in the Tarsha Gale which surprises me as they won the comp last year undefeated

    Odds of playing NRL

thats quite a valid reason Lets look at how it was when the 20s were national as a start less than half SG Ball players go onto play u20s (thats 1 out of 2 and thats too good) and its some where around 1 in 10 for u20s going onto NRL. So thats at best 1 in 20 at the SG Ball level. There is...

    WSDJRL Broke

Apart from the development officers that go around schools etc, It is none. The NSWRL have one staff member that has a decent presence which may or may not be unique The Roosters NRL club fund their own junior league.

    WSDJRL Broke

you probably would not understand but that is fact. Its something I do feel strongly about, but can see without influence as I come from an environment where the junior clubs are funded very well, just not by the NRL

    WSDJRL Broke

soccer is a disgrace its all about making money out of the kids. Kids play in "rep sides" that are not selected but if you want to pay the large fees sometimes over $1000 dollars you can play in a "rep side" Easts junior clubs are lucky that the NRL club funds them. Other clubs like Cabra...
