    It's not really a welcome to country. A welcome to country is spoken by an Aboriginal elder from the local tribe. The video thing at the start from the Aboriginal woman was a welcome to country. What the roos did wasn't even really an acknowledgement of country in the usual sense.

    It didn't look as bad as it might in the end because most of the empty seats were in the top of the western stand and in the corners but the figure is woeful. Fortunately the game itself was pretty good. As usual the on-field product making up for the poor administration off it.
