    Short drop outs are becoming more and more common as you’ve probably got a 40% chance in getting the ball back and even if you don’t there’s a genuine belief that it’s harder for attacking teams to attack from right on the goal line as opposed to like 20-30m out

    As I mentioned earlier he’s the fullback version of SKD, does some great things but unfortunately I think you have to take it as a given that the costly errors are going to be part of his game

    100%, goal kicking has been our Achilles heal for a while now, hard to blame Miller for the missed goals as he came into the season as probably 3rd choice kicker but his errors on the other hand are really becoming an issue

    100%, compare that to Josh Curran who got his head in the wrong place and got knocked to the ground and struggled to get up which led to the ref having to stop play but no HIA

    I’m no doctor but I’m pretty sure Josh Curran stumbling around like a drunk last week where the ref had to stop play showed more signs of concussion than 90% of the independent doctor imposed HIAs this year yet he was never taken off

    Crossland to me just doesn’t have the eyes up ability or distribution to play dummy half at a decent level. I think his best position is as a linking 5/8th where he’s playing well before the line.

    hope this 5 year deal works out better for us than the one we gave to the other QLD origin fullback 😉 I think it sends a strong message how highly the club is prioritising the women's game.

    100%, none of those guys have good distribution, Mann is fine as a runner, Crossland is a decent defender and Elliot can fill in but the way we’re playing with Hastings running the show and KP back we really need a good distributor above anything else.     Bateman is simply not a middle forward, has only played like 20 games at lock (mostly in his younger days) in his entire career which spans 270 games, he is as much a specialist edge as you’ll find, besides they’ve got 2 very highly regarded young locks in the squad being Fonua Pole and Justin...

    Woolford is the raiders starting hooker and Paix is the 14 for the broncos so either are out of favour. If you’re going to market you’re looking at guys like Jayden Nikorima, Moses Mbye or Mitch Rein who are off contract next year and might get an immediate release if we sign them for next year
