    Id have to look thru who is on the market. This year wasn't so great or high end players but a year is a long time in NRL.

    Since we aren't getting Eli Clarke Id respond by locking in Volkman to a bargain basement contract for a couple of years. This would leave us near 800k for an elite player in 26 whether this be hooker or edge. Volkman was a gun in the lower grades but has had some setbacks. If he doesn't work...

    Id rather Volkman on bargain basement price then Blaize as a 5/8.

    I Ive seen Ionghi get rundown as well. Explosive speed but not high end speed. In watching other peoples highlights Ive seen Blaize get burned by speed time after time. Blaize at fullback would have been a disaster. Ionghi is a way better option. We definitely won that exchange.
