I'd hope you are getting Nikorima for cheap. The truth is he was never being re signed by the Warriors, and was only with us this season because he took up a player option.
Hopefully the move will freshen him up. He's seemed un interested for a couple seasons and has been overtaken by others...
Yeah we definitely missed Lodge and Tevaga out there today, they shut down our middles with good line speed, and we didn't have the power or probably second phase to counter it. That and putting pressure on SJ and Walsh limited our attack. It's a pretty clear tactic, worked for the Cows last...
That would be odd, having the Cowboys sub par 2021 halves join you guys. But looking at both Clifford and Drinkwater, they should be able to work together really nicely. Still young, can kick and run, Drinkwater has a bit of X factor..
And the Cows would end up with Dearden and Townshend.. I...
I'm pretty sure most media numbers thrown around are heavy. Likely from their agents, it would help boost inflation on others/everyone's contracts.
I think he's kids have had reactions, which put him off vaxing..? I'm hopeful it will get sorted, I saw something recently saying the club was...
Yeah not good. The team needs to be back in NZ ASAP, feels like a complete different club since COVID. Which is sort of good, but POS was a foundation for this club to build new success on. He has a good relationship with the top Warriors guys, I would hope there was an agreement drew up around...
Ha, signing Mitch Rein would give me massive Nathan Friend vibes. Wouldn't be the worst signing.. But I know they really rate Otukolo, so him and Egan should be shooting it out next season. Egan is in his final contract year, so has something to prove. He's been pretty good this season, first...
Not looking forward to this weeks team.. I can see Walsh, Niko and Townsend out. Could be an ugly halves pairing, along with no Aitken, Curran, Harris, CHT. I thought last weeks team was bad enough, but they surprised me with MOST of that game... Then choked.
I think the players aren't lacking...
Man Roache injured again on return, poor bastard. It's almost like a bad joke.
Foran knows how to play a role, that's for sure. Bit of a warhorse these days, but that's all Manly need at the moment. Lawton also playing well, although had some moments in todays game. Him and Keighran are the...
Bit of a tough business decision by the looks of it. It feels like right one, for both parties really. He's a decent NRL winger for sure, but if he isn't fitting the make up for the next season and beyond, it's best for Ken to go hunting a bigger deal, which he got. Go hard Ken!
I'm just glad...
Is that off that Warriors instagram post? I'm taking it as bullshit. Until I see some actual journalists picking up on it.
I hope that's the case anyway..
Ken is your classic big lumbering winger. Hit and miss defense and lack of speed/turning are his biggest issues. But he runs hard, can finish and does plenty of grunt work.
Had an outstanding 2019, but has really struggled since we were based in Australia. I think this is a win/win/win signing...
Surely this guy isn't good enough for any special treatment here.
Starting to feel a little sorry for the Raiders fans, wheels are falling off fast. Sticky seems one of those blokes you would love when things are going well, but tough to handle when not.
First Manu, then Hynes, now Widdop. We're being linked to Five Eights, which is interesting considering Kodi has a year to go. Looks like the club is planning to replace him sooner than that.
Widdop isn't looking for much $$, wouldn't be upset if we did get him for a year. Seems like a stop...
Hiku was pretty good for the Warriors, a lot of fans are a little hurt by him leaving. But we have a few guys coming through which would make Hiku the fall guy.
He has great skill for a centre, puts his winger away really nicely. But, injuries, age and more importantly, defence let's him down...
Fullback and 6 are pretty similar in terms of attack. RTS is almost a little old fashioned now as a fullback, most of the top 1's have great passing and kicking games, Rog is a run first guy, and looks awkward when throwing passes. Walsh showed in the second half he has no trouble playing 1 and...
Well you already got Burr.. He's an OK bench option, that's all.
Hiku is off contract for 2022, he'd be a good pick up, just his defence is sub par. Someone like Perham is also off contract, and got game time under Todd. Maybe Kodi Nikorima is a chance for 2022? Seemed to play well with Todd in...
Lodge publicly declined via POS. FFS I swear the Australia media put 1 + 1 = 10 for any player who has connections to the Warriors. Hughes now Lodge.
POS also said we have no roster spots anyway, so the only players we are signing are for 2022 as it stands.
Paasi confirmed as released to St Helens today. Be interesting to see the plans with his roster spot, rumours around we've signed Amone from the Bunnies, if that was his replacement that's a down grade in performance and cash, even if he is highly rated. Coming off injury, he could be worth a...
