Comp could be down to 5 chances?

Something that has little bearing when the result goes your way though Noa. Raiders (and other teams) have been going through it for weeks and you give it no weight but you lose and all of a sudden BINGO. Rugby League dont work like that remember.

and Papalli, Massey, Wighton. But never the less a poor showing by them tonight.

Comp could be down to 5 chances?

Oh mate they are a good team no doubt and I think Dean Pay would also be quite a good coach and if they do have improvement in them they will be awfully hard to beat. But I would still be leaning towards the Raiders matching it with them at full strength. You have to remember that Raiders...

    NSW 16s and 18s

You may be right but long term it will be interesting to see. Things may seem a little different if Raiders where running closer to full strength more often but as you know there has been a lot of shuffling and disruption to the roster this season so that could have skewed things McGahans way...

    NSW 16s and 18s

You may well be right, just turned 18 youngest in Raiders squad plays/has played 1,3,4,6,7 leads the team when he has to and takes a more backseat role when Williams plays.

Comp could be down to 5 chances?

Off what I saw last weekend Raiders would beat Storm if they could run a full strength team. Take the 2 gift tries away and they did not much against a depleted Raiders side at home. Come the 17 July we will find out.

Wighton and Cornish tipped to be 18s halves. Selectors give Massey that sinking feeling BY JON TUXWORTH 11 May, 2011 07:15 AM While Raiders coach David Furner resists making wholesale changes to his side, calls for more of the club's young talent to be given a chance are growing louder...

    NYC 2011 Predictions

Agreed, one thing is for sure it will be exciting watching the year unfold because as you said its only round five and there is a lot of footy to be played yet. One thing that I do find annoying is that they don't televise enough NYC games and hopefully this is something they will change in...

    NYC 2011 Predictions

Well we are about to find out if they can cover for him. Apparently Luke Berkery will play halfback and I couldn't tell you about his experience at 7 because I just don't know but the coach must see some utility value in him because he usually plays second row. Much of the halves workload I...

    NSW 16s and 18s

funny thing is he was playing in the centres, but I'm sure he prefers the halves but also looks to be good utility value! There's a good go for fullback with Gagan and Roberts in good form for their teams. You would think he would be good in the 6 in the NSW team but he is preferring playing...

    Round 2 preview

If the Raiders can keep the Williams/Massey combo together I think they will have a prosperous year also. It seems quite hard to get a real handle on form early as round 2. If you went off results you would think the Broncs would of had the Raiders covered but the Raiders played quite well...

    Canberra Raiders NYC

Great effort to beat the Broncos last night. When our big fellas get more match fitness they will be very hard to stop. Williams gives the team direction that at this stage Massey and Wighton cant and barring injury the team look like being real contenders come October.
