    Anyone know anything about Saints offering Brisbane Macca a 3 year deal? Why would anyone want ti ever do that was my first question. Then I wondered if McInnes and Madge had had another coffee? As a Tigers fan you learn never to get too excited by these types of rumours?

    Isn’t Doueihi suspended for Rd 1? These predicted teams stuff is absolutely useless! Surely Joe is 13 and Twal FRF! Momirovski has to be in thatcside somewhere.

    Our biggest issue is not who we have, it’s that we can’t seem to sign anyone. We are linked to everyone, we have so much money, yet nobody wants to come. We are going to have to pay overs just to get a gun to sign to stop the rot. Alas, there appears nobody of note available this year.

    Who are 8 teams that will finish beneath us? I’m a realist! Until we start signing a gun we have little hope. If there is a major injury in specific positions then we really are stuffed. Our depth is poor as well -particularly in FB.

    No offense, but how do you expect this team to finish in the top 8 with this spine? No Top class FB or Halves or Hooker. I think the Hooker is the least of our problems. If we aren’t in the bottom 4 then we’ve done well.
