    I wonder how JAC is feeling now that The Dogs have signed yet another FB! How can they have so many and we have none! (Meaney, DWZ, Hoppa, JAC next year, and now Allan).

    Reports on the Wests Tigers forum that Canterbury have signed Allan! Why? And of course why was it reported at 21:30hrs? His source is Channel 7. Very strange. Are we after Hoppa by any chance? If this is true are the Dogs employing The Roosters’ accountants?

    So we have just signed Simpkins (19 yo 2RF) from the Cowboys. Kane Bradley has been allowed to leave to an unnamed team. We still therefore have 3 players to sign. Anyone know much about Bradley? Is his departure good or bad? Any chance he has gone to the Riff and Laurie will now be released early?

    For those of us still struggling with whether our hooker’s name is Simpkin or Simpkins (it’s Simpkin by the way) well we’ve just signed a 2RF by the name of Simpkins (from The Cowboys). Bradley departed to an unnamed team so we still have 27 players signed.

    Defence has always been our problem, and yes Benji’s defence whilst never great is not the cause of us finishing outside the 8. Also, we haven’t had a great half back since Prince left, and then there’s our pack! Why is Benji being blamed? When he wasn’t with us we still didn’t make the 8.

    Rumour on another Tigers forum is that we have signed Mansour and thus Laurie will be released early (Cini to return to Penrith I suppose as we have so many centres now). I’ll believe it when the club announce it and not before. The question is does this mean Mbye is leaving too? Also who is GK...

    I assume Momirovski will be our GK for Round 1, so he’ll be picked somewhere -my guess is 5/8. I thought there was talk of Kepaoa playing FB. On the Tigers website each player is given a position (no idea why) and our only two FB’s are AD and Mbye! Oh dear!

    I think he’s probably good enough, but you can’t play Nofo and Mansour as the two wingers -both too short and like for like replacements (Mansour a much better defender thiugh). Also Jimmy, if able, is a centre. Having said that, your man would possibly make it for Round 1 as Doueihi is...

    Word on another Tigers forum (and Panthers forum) is that Mansour has removed all affiliation with the Panthers from his Twitter. Question is, is it with us or Parra? Panthers seem to think it’s the Dogs -as he’s been training a lot with Cotric. If it’s us makes Novo signing on very doubtful...
