    Dane is a genuine fullback. Grew up playing 1 and 6. At the end of the day you pick your best 1, 6, 7, 9 and worry about who's playing centre after you pick your strongest spine.

    Mamo is quick enough. I wasn't questioning his speed. I'm just saying all he has really shown in first grade is some pace and enthusiasm. He's a winger playing a spine position.

    Feeney has the size and speed to make a go of centre. He has always been a ball runner first. Mamo can do what he has been doing from wing. Dane needs to be fullback.

    Actually in that match Dane would've caught Jennings if the try line was another 20m away. Jennings is lighting over 40 but I don't think he's super quick over the full 100.

    Dane's game was never based around speed. He's got the footwork to trouble defensive lines and hands to create and setup plays to go with all round football smarts.

    Dane had the most line breaks in the NRL up to origin this year. Too much sideway running from the rookie fullback Mamo hasn't helped since. So not sure what your definition is elusive is. Speed is great to have but you only need to look at the teams with some of the quickest guys in the NRL...

    I think you're going a bit overboard there. If Mamo is playing origin in 3 years times, NSW are in big trouble. Don't get me wrong, Mamo has some potential but he needs more than just some pace and enthusiasm
