    You seem completely unaware we had/have BYC on $600k o_O on our books for the next 2 seasons AFTER this, just as an example of how many overs we've thrown at a player who as you say, had no competition for his signature at any stage of his career & was never going to leave.

    It coincided with a stop to the expansive play that had Eels troubled in defence & a return to the one out runs that made us some metres but never looked like producing many points. 35 minutes to go is a long time to put the cue in the rack. You need to put a team to the sword when you can.

    There is a difference between even Elliots service or Germ Jr vs Starling who forces the runner to stall or catch up at their shoulder & then run high too often. It's the part of his game he needs to be in Hodgo's ear & on the training paddock about developing.
