    Like I said earlier 3 teams without a win and 2 teams fans refuse to travel. The Nrl would have banked on Parra and Souths fans making up the majority of the crowd and their form was not good in fact Parras was terrible. . Considering it rained as well 30k is with in reach next double...

    The Easter show is on right next door to ANZ stadium. Maybe fans can get into the double header via the easter show. Hopefully they are giving away tickets in the show bags for the double header. I don’t think We will crack 100k this round.

    I reckon 25k would be about all you can expect. I hope I’m wrong but Manly and Cronulla fans refuse to leave their beaches to attend away games. Parramatta and Souths are both without a win. So I can’t see many fans bothering to turn up to Anz.. I hope I’m wrong at least the weather is good...

    Grassroots ( junior league) keeping Nrl accountable!

    The women’s/girls Rugby league has potential to build junior numbers massively 70 extra junior teams in the Penrith district alone is outstanding !Any wonder the Nrl has pushed so hard to grow the woman’s game. Would like to see numbers for other nrl clubs.

    Fantastic effort from Penrith Panthers holding girls competition this year and they have 68 teams girls/women’s teams registered nearly 1000 girls playing the game. In some age groups they have a enough for two divisions.

    I haven’t seen any promotion of the double header at ANZ yet. 3 out of the 4 teams playing are yet to win a game.Hopefully the weather clears up or the crowd could be embarrassing for the Nrl.

    The Roosters/knights will be an interesting crowd. If this game was played earlier I’d be confident of a big turn out. It has potential but the time slot could burn a few k of spectators. I will be there looking forward to this grudge match.

    Honestly PR unless you were in Sydney today you can’t comment mate. I went for a swim at 3:30 today and my car temperature said 41 degrees. The heat definitely stopped 4-5k from attending especially manly having a beach nearby.

    All 3 clubs that use ANZ stadium have all lost their opening 2 games..( Eels down 30-0 at half time.) Im thinking the good start to season crowds might come to an abrupt end when Bulldogs,Souths Parra play there. Dogs fans dropped off big time last season when out of contention for finals...
